Carrying lunch to work in my Synapse 19?

I have not used this product, but I think it would work well with a 24 oz. wide mouth mason jar, which fits in the S19 water bottle pocket.

Ingenious! I'm still thinking through my options but I think a mason jar is where it's at, and it's a matter of finding one that fits along with the thermos food jar. Appreciate all the help!

Sorry for the delayed response-- I have the 16 oz. Thermos (this one: Vacuum Insulated 16 oz Food Jar with Bowl and Spoon | Thermos®) and it fits easily into the S19 water bottle pocket.

Update! I've hit on a solution that's been working really well for me. A Thermos food jar and a Talenti gelato jar fit perfectly stacked together in the water bottle pocket. The Thermos holds breakfast (hot or cold oatmeal) and the gelato jar holds lunch (a grain- or bean-based salad). It sounds like people aren't too fond of plastic around here, but the jar is the perfect size and shape. But now that I'm bringing food I don't have to microwave, I'll keep an eye out for something in stainless or glass.
