I can shove them both in a 13" ristretto with room for cables.

I have a Cadet that I carry a 15" MBP with via cache attached to rails. But with just the MBP, there's precious little room left for an iPad, especially if it's in a cache too.

Dunno if you're considering backpacks but an S25 would fit iPad in inner pocket quite nicely.

I find myself carrying both to and from work each day, and I carry them both at some conferences and client meetings.

I've found a leather bag I like on Kickstarter, but that doesn't arrive until next year (if ever - ahh, Kickstarter). I've been looking for something that would work as an everyday carry and that I wouldn't mind taking into situations where a leather bag might look out of place (at many dev conferences I find myself wearing shorts and sandals, so a leather bag might look odd) or might be too easily damaged.

I'd like it to look professional, but not too stuffy. Honestly, the Founder's Briefcase pretty much nails the look I'm going for, and I'd love to add yet another Tom Bihn bag to my collection. However, I noticed the Founder's Briefcase will fit my laptop but won't fit my iPad it sounds like - the description says the area for a tablet is sized to fit an iPad mini.

So, does anyone have a recommendation for a bag that fits these requirements? Anyone out there try to carry both a MacBook Pro 15" and iPad Pro 10" in a Founder's Briefcase or another Tom Bihn bag?

    Thanks for your help!
I was going to suggest a Cadet which is pretty minimalist but will hold those two items. It doesn’t necessarily have specific separate pockets for the items but you could add a cache to help with that.
