Which size travel stuff sack is comparable in size to Eagle Creek Half Tube Cube?

I have a pair of softshell pants that I bring with me on my commute every day, and I'd like to get a stuff sack to keep them in. I managed to barely get the pants into an Eagle Creek Half Tube Cube, so that gives an idea of the size I need.

If one of the yarn stuff sacks is big enough I would prefer that, but otherwise a stuff sack should work. I already own a Side Effect, so photos in comparison to that would give me a good idea of the size I need. Are there any such photos in the forums?

If you do a Google search using the forums address, that works better than the forum search. I typed in "stuff sack side effect site:https://forums.tombihn.com" and that came up with a few older posts with photos and video.

On the Eagle site - the half cube is listed as 300 cu in (half cube) or 5 L and the dimensions are 10 x 7 x 3 in
      https://shop.eaglecreek.com/packit-o...CategoryId=330

The size 3 stuff sack is 250 cu in and 4L
The size 4 stuff sack is 425 cu in and 7L

The two yarn stuff sacks, from the descriptions, are smaller than the size 3 stuff sack

The shoulder packing cube is Volume: 4.5 L (275 cu. in.)

The closest in size to the eagle creek - it seems to me - would be the laundry bag Size Aeronaut 30:
      Volume: 305 cubic inches / 5 liters

Thanks, that’s very helpful. The google search brings up better results than the forum search; plus a bunch of other interesting threads that I had not seen. And for some reason I was hung up on dimensions - of course the volume probably matters most with a soft item like my pants.

Looks like my best bet is the size 3 stuff sack.

I have an older type half cube, it turns out. This one https://www.amazon.com/Eagle-Creek-P.../dp/B00F9S74B6 Dimensions are 10 x 2 x 3.9, so I think I am somewhere between the size 2 and 3. I just tried stuffing them into a Large Travel Tray (forgot about it) , and they fit easily. But the tray is a little too bulky because of its stiffness, so the stuff sack should work better.

Eagle Creek does have many variations and they change their names - I missed the tube part and went straight for half cube -but now I see they have this one:
            https://shop.eaglecreek.com/packit-o...ry=tube%20cube
            CAPACITY:
            100 cu in | 2 L
            DIMENSIONS:
            10 x 4 x 2 in | 25.4 x 10 x 5 cm

And this does make more sense about 1 pair of pants.
