EEE PC 1000he Horizontal Brain Cell

    Hi there All,

I must say that these Tom Bihn bags are great! I have the Brain Bag backpack. I am looking for the Horizontal Brain cell, but can seem to figure out what size to get. I have an EEE PC 1000he. The dimensions are:

    10.5 X 8 X 1.5(thick - Measure where battery is)

Which would be the best size to get?

    Thanks!

I was just looking for this info. I have one coming next week and I'm not sure which to get. Or would the Ristretto work for this.

I finally figured this out. I'm posting this in case someone else has the Asus. It looks like it's the size 5 brain cell that's the best fit. It's not listed but the similar sized Samsung NC10 is.
Now I can place my order for the side effect.

Would this thing qualify as Checkpoint friendly?

Sorry for the late response. mrae is spot-on: the Size 5, with interior dimensions of 11.3 × 9.3 × 1.4, is the best fit we offer for the EEE PC 1000he. With the exception of the 11.3 of the Brain Cell vs. the 10.5 of the laptop, it's a great fit - and because the fit is so good in the other two dimensions, the EEE shouldn't move around inside of the Size 5.

The Brain Cell is not checkpoint friendly because it has an exterior pocket and metal snaps on the front. However, many customers have used it as a "checkpoint friendly" bag without issue - but again, it does not meet the TSA requirements.
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)
