    tom bihn museum?

tom has designed some very cool bags over the years. a lot of them are available today, but some are not. occasionally, we see bags from the past show up on the forum.

it would be wonderful to have an online museum featuring all of the bags that tom has designed over the years!

    what do you think?

    oh, i came across this:

the writer says he has had this daypack for 12 years. what is it called?

      vintage 1990's black bag

this black bag daypack is one that, per darcy, tom himself sewed from start to finish.

it appeared for sale on ebay in january, 2009.

                the 1995 LGD

darcy started a discussion and poll some time back about reintroducing / redesigning the Black Bag LGD, circa 1995:

The Super Musette is cool! I'd rather that the TB crew re-made that than the Black Bag, even though the Black Bag has a great name

if i understand correctly, black bag was actually the name of tom's company before he started operating under his own name.

Maverick -- you're right, and I even knew that, but let it slip from my brain. The LGD is the bag I was looking at when I said that Now, I think that "Black Bag" *would* be a good name for a bag, though, so perhaps it could one day come full circle, and Tom Bihn, maker of Tom Bihn bags and formerly principal of Black Bag, could make a black Tom Bihn Black Bag.
