    Checkpoint Flyer/Bose headphones

Hi - Is there sufficient space in one or both of the two front "flip over" pockets to place case of the "over the ears" Bose headphones? I have a Targus (hey, I got the Targus free, as a replacement for an old wheeled Port laptop case that broke) check point friendly bag that it's large front pocket is really stressed when the headphone case is placed inside - not much room for much other stuff.

We really need to get a set of Bose headphones - this is a question that comes up a lot of a bunch of different bags! I'm guessing it might be a tight fit - does anyone here have the headphones and a Checkpoint Flyer? OR, can you measure the headphones, jemmettg? I'm sure you can fit the headphones in the main compartment of the bag.
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Current carry: testing new potential materials in the form of Original Large Shop Bags.

Kevin at Practical Hacks has a picture of the Bose headphones inside a clear quarter packing cube in the side pocket of an Aeronaut in his review First Take: Tom Bihn Aeronaut travel bag. Those look like the "over the ears" Bose Quiet Comfort 2 noise-cancelling headphones. You can check the dimensions of this, and the slightly smaller on-ear Quiet Comfort 3 noise-cancelling headphones on the linked Bose web site. (Or you could send Kevin a Checkpoint Flyer to review and photograph.)

P.S. The Quiet Comfort 2 headphones in their case fit quite well in the outer pocket of the original version of the Buzz, but I don't think that's what you're asking about!.

          Bose headphone dimensions

          Hi Darcy, the dimensions are roughly 8.5"H x 7.5"L x 2"W.

I have a set of Sony noise-cancelling headphones that come in a flattened-on-one-end roundish faux-leather pouch (don't have the model number handy, but they're a current model, which I see offered usually for $100-120 here in the U.S -- perhaps that helps pin them down). The case for these is I think (based on glances and glimpses) a bit smaller than the more compact of the Bose folders that I have seen -- the Sonys fold down rather compactly, and that pouch seems designed to fit in the larger of the Chkpt Flyer's external pockets, so I am skeptical of the Boses fitting very well ...

I hope for you sake that I'm wrong, though.

              Bose headphone case

Well, my fingers are crossed that there may be room in the from. I've been unable to find (but I probably have not searched within the TB website well enough) the dimensions of the "backside" case that is designed to hold books/documents, etc. If you can place the headphone case inside there and still have 11" for a legal pad and other papers, on their side, that will probably work for me be. And, I'm not sure, but the web site leaves me with a slight impression that the 3ST, 2ST, 2XLT PC sizes have a little larger width to the front and back areas? Is that accurate? Maybe the way to go then, is to order the 3ST, 2ST, 2XLT PC size case (with just a little bit more room in the front pouch to contain the headphone case), but get the computer case for a smaller pc. (In my mind, it a Macbook - the 13.3" inch pc). Or maybe I am dimensionally challenged, and am reading in too much.

Bose Headphones Fit the Outside Pocket Checkpoint Flyer!

                Hi Everyone,

Great news. Both the old (Bose Quietcomfort 2) and the new (Bose Quietcomfort 15) headphone cases fit into the left outside pocket of the Checkpoint Flyer. Angle it in carefully, fbring the top of the pocket over the case for a tight, almost perferfect, fit. The zipper can be closed; a very efficient use of space.
