    Vertical Brain Cell Fit

    Hi,
I just got a Vertical Brain Cell size 4Z for a new 15" MacBook Pro. The computer fits perfectly except at the top of the case. The top flaps do not close unless I push the computer down into the sleeve with some force. I am wondering if this is normal, if they sleeve will stretch out after a while, or if this is a problem with the sleeve?
    Thanks!

that sounds similar to my experience... my flaps close, but they bulge at the top (it seems like it's not closing "perfectly"). the velcro catches, but the flaps aren't lying flat. i haven't tried pushing the computer in any harder, i just let the top bulge a little.

i've had my brain cell for a few months now, but i've only carried my computer in it 5 or 6 times since then... so i'm not sure if it will "stretch out" over time or not, based on my own limited experience.

Sorry to hear you are having difficulties with your size 4Z Vertical Brain Cells. Sometimes they get assembled in the factory a little too tight: the sling is effectively too short and the laptop pops up like done toast.
A simple remedy is to pull the sling up and out of the bag, un-velcro the two sides of the sling and re-assemble them, backing the overlap of the velcro off a bit. If this doesn't work or isn't clear, give us a call on our 800# and we'll work with you.

        hi tom,

that is a very handy adjustment mechanism!

here is a quick video to help illustrate the adjustment process.

i also came across this video that illustrates the use of the brain cell and brain bag.

Brilliant! My husband is giving his brain cell a couple of millimetres adjustment as I type!

          Thanks for the video Maverick.
