    Checkpoint Flyer - Laptop Access

I have a question for the bag cognoscenti here.

Is it possible or practical to remove the laptop from a Checkpoint Flyer without unhooking the whole thing? Can it slide out the side?

I fear trying to get to my laptop in a coach seat and having to unfurl the whole bag to get it out and in the process spilling the hot coffee teetering on the armrest in my lap.

    Thanks
    Bill

Thanks to your question, I happened to notice my brand-new shiny checkpoint flyer *does* indeed zip all the way down the side of the laptop case! Yeay, no more unbuckling, except at the airport!

You can slip the laptop out of the side of the bag but it is not as easy as it could be. An improved zipper arrangement or wider opening would fix this.

That said, I do it all the time and nearly never unfold the whole bag except at airport security.

And I do love my bag.
