Guardian DF Light - Different Clip From What's Shown on Website

I received a number of accessories to go along with my Super Ego bag a couple days ago, including a white Guardian DF light (w/o lanyard). Since I already have a red one with a lanyard, I was hoping to swap it out with the white whenever a need arose.

The white light I received however, had a clip that was different from what I had expected, and was incompatible with the lanyard. The clip had a hooked end, which made it extremely hard to remove once it was attached to the lanyard; I almost broke it trying to force it wide enough to slip out through the slot.

May I please exchange the white light with one that has a lanyard-compatible clip?

Sorry about that! The new clip is really cool - it will allow the Guardian Light to fit more places on the exterior of our bags. Tom will design a new type of lanyard for it. That said, we have been removing the new clip and replacing it with the previous style of clip until that new lanyard has designed, but apparently one (yours) slipped past us.

If you think you can remove the new clip from the Guardian Light (which is possible, and much easier than removing the lanyard from the clip), we can send you the previous style clip to install - then you'll have both clips and can move to the new clip once the new lanyard is available. OR, we can send you an entirely new Guardian Light with the previous style clip (and send you a prepaid return label for the one you currently have).
