Cork Swift

Hi! Question to all you Cork Swift owners. I am intending to use the Swift as a secondary bag when I travel -- e.g., fold it up and carry in my Aeronaut during the actual travel, then take it out and use it for the day when I arrive at my destination. I love the look of the cork fabric but am worried that the cork fabric isn't very "bendy"....or that bending it may crack the cork? Has anyone used a cork Swift in this fashion?

It's a very supple material; no cracking here.
