AFAIK, I bought the last medium Cafe Bag with the strap-changing clips on Dec. 1st (it was old enough to have the infamous French 'Our Prez is an idiot' tag).

But it's not too hard to change the current strap into tri-rings for snapping on an Absolute. Just about any serious sewing shop will have resin triangle rings in the 1 1/2" size, or try seattlefabrics.com for them. Cut the current strap and sew on the triangles, and you're done! Of course, this will probably void the warranty.

Maybe mine wasn't the last one. You could call and throw yourself on their mercy... and get a gift from the Bag Gods...

Note: The LARGE Cafe Bag still comes with the strap-changing clips, just the Medium and Small no longer do.

Strap Wrap, eh? Well, good to hear. Might be time to buy some more from Tom Bihn!

No, the strap on the Medium Cafe Bag is sewn into the bag. There is however the new Strap Wrap which is very comfortable. I have two, one for each of my medium cafe bags.
