    Media wallets?

I just purchased an Olympus LS-10 personal digital voice recorder. The unit has built-in memory but it also offers an SD card slot for removable camera-card-style storage of audio recording files.

What would you recommend for storage of SD cards that I could haul around in a Tom Bihn Super Ego or (possibly down the road) a TB backpack? I was thinking of getting either an Organizer Pouch, possibly Clear or Padded, to contain the Olympus recorder.

ADDED NOTE: I already own a couple of Canon digital camera that also use SD cards.

A Clear or Fabric Pouch works just fine for SD cards.

I think a Padded Pouch is always the best option for electronic devices. (I don't know if you already have a case for your recorder)

The Clear and Cork Pouches feel more substantial than the Corduras.

I use a mini clear pouch for USB sticks and I have it hooked into the laptop-area/main-zipper-compartment of the Ego. It works perfectly for me.

My new Olympus LS-10 just arrived. This thing is tiny!

It looks like it could fit into a Clear Pen & Pencil Organizer Pouch with plenty of room to spare. The only thing is, I would not want to leave accessories (mic windscreen felts, batteries, SD cards) in there loose to slosh around. And a Mini Clear Organizer is 3.9 inches wide, same as the Pen & Pencil Pouch. So, the question now becomes how to fit storage for accessories within storage for the recorder...

You might consider a Small Padded Pouch for the recorder and a Small Clear or Cork Pouch for the accessories both Pouches nestled into a Medium Pouch.

If the Medium Pouch is not roomy enough, because you want two Small Pouches of accessories, consider one of the Sleeves for Amazon Kindle 2.

I'm now beginning to wonder if I would be better off considering the use of one of the Waterfield Designs' "Gear Pouches". These pouches each have more than one zipper leading into more than one compartment. This could prove useful in having a separate place to stow SD cards, batteries and the like apart from the recorder itself.

By the looks of it, even the smallest of them should easily fit the LS-10. The only question I would have is how easily a Tom Bihn Key Strap would fit over the tote loop so I could hook it into a TB bag.

I went ahead and ordered two WaterField Gear Pouches.

I will try to hook at least one of these pouches up to a Tom Bihn Key Strap so I can hang it inside my Super Ego (or possibly a future, as not yet purchased, Tom Bihn backpack). I will post a follow-up once I receive and try out my gear pouches.

I received two WaterField Gear Pouches in the mail today.

Although I would've liked them to be smaller and a little more padded, they are as close to ideal for what I was looking for as anything on the market. I was able to attached a Tom Bihn Key Strap to each of the pouches with some effort.

I will use one for a multi-format camera card reader (with USB cable in the outer pocket) and another pouch for my new Olympus LS-10 recorder. I will post photos later this weekend.

I just posted a bunch of new photos over in the Tom Bihn Customer Pictures & Video section of this forum. Among the new photos are images of my new Gear Pouches with Tom Bihn Key Straps successfully attached.
