    Kit and Co-Pilot

Has anyone tried the 'Kit' in the main compartment of the Co-Pilot? I'm
wondering if it fits comfortably there? I'm looking for something to
discreetly carry a few feminine products and wonder if the Kit would be best or should I go with one of the bigger cordura pouches?

I can't speak to the Co-Pilot part of the question, but I can tell you that I just got a Kit and it's a lot bigger than it looks in the product pictures--it could probably hold a whole box of tampons (or a huge handful of pads, or half a dozen Diva Cups) with room to spare. If all you want it for is that, you might want to consider a small Organizer Pouch, which fits most tampons and pads, and will still hold quite a few.

Thanks, Rhiannon - it sounds like the Kit is a lot bigger than I need. I think I'll get a couple of different sizes of pouches and see which works best (anyway, you can never have too many Pouches!).

I use a 3D. I can tell at a glance if I'm leaving the house without refilling it, and it holds pads, wipes, hand wipes, tampons, and a whole lot more. I just took mine to a Highland Games (lots of Sani-cans, no flush toilets) and it was just what I needed to carry my own wet wipes, tissues, seat covers, and other stuff.

The rest of the month it makes a nice makeup bag!

I used to use a Sapphire Cordura or Dyneema medium pouch. Problem with that? Unless I used a clear front, I was always leaving the house without refilling it when necessary. If you have a use for a clear front medium pouch, go for one, but the 3D also comes in very handy for traveling.

Unless you are using compact or no-applicator tampons, a Small Pouch will drive you nuts as you finagle them in and out. Just FYI. I had to toss a few when the plastic ripped and I didn't want to use the resulting damaged tampon. I never found a brand which wouldn't fit into a Medium Pouch or a 3D. Medium Pouches are flat but take up more height than the 3D, which is deeper. The 3D goes neatly into either front pocket on the Co-Pilot, or into either of the big pocket's internal pockets. A full Medium Pouch eould go into the big pocket only, or the rear slip pocket.

The 3D does cost more, though. Your call.

Oh - I also have a Kit. Unless you were trying to pack a month's worth of supplies in one bag, it would be much too big for a daybag situation. I'd use it only when traveling with my Aeronaut, not my Co-Pilot.

Thanks, aiethabell, for your advice. It obviously sounds like the Kit is much too big. I think I'll get the 3D and the medium pouch and see which works best!
