TB Bags and Carrying an LX3

I have been carrying a P&S camera with me -- a Lumix LX3. What kind of case do LX3 owners (or owners of cameras of similar size) use that would clip into my Ristretto,ID,etc? Has anyone tried the (small?) padded organizer pouches as a handy case?

    thanks

    hi sleestak3!

i think a small padded organizer pouch will hold the lx3, but i haven't tried it myself. i used to have a leica d-lux 4, which is basically the same size.

i currently carry the canon s90 in the small padded organizer pouch, and there is room to spare in that pouch with that camera inside.

      Thanks maverick!

is that your movie with the s90 in the pouch? I couldn't tell how much extra room there was, but it seemed to be a very good way to have the camera handy.

I think the thing to do is to get a small pouch and if it doesn't work, use it for something else...there is no downside to this.

I have a Leica D-Lux 4. It fits... won't be slim and sleek, but it fits and is protected by the padding.

          Thanks, Karl!

            Silver padded pouch color option

            Karl,

I have some padded medium organizer pouches that same color (Sliver). But I don't think I've seen that color available for at least a year, and maybe longer. Charcoal seems to have become the default color for the padded accessory pouches with the large upsurge of use with the Ristretto(s) and the various caches. I actually like the silver color better (and I have black for a few pouches). When did you order your padded pouches? And does anyone know when they dropped the silver option?

              Hi Moriond,

I ordered padded small organizer pouches in late January 2009. I think I just missed black by a hair.
