    Ego / Super Ego

I currently have a Super Ego, but it's a bit big for my daily use, so I'm thinking about getting an Ego as well.

Does anyone know if the removable strips for the front buckle are interchangeable? They look to be the same, but the website doesn't specify.

Also, has anyone tried to use a Checkpoint Flyer Laptop Case with an Ego or Super Ego? I think this has been discussed before, but I'm too lazy to search the forum .

    Hey RedBeard!

They are interchangeable . Which size Checkpoint Flyer Case do you have? The Checkpoint Flyer Case will not clip into the Super Ego or Ego securely like the Brain Cell would but you may be able to simply place the Case inside of the main compartment (depending on the size of the Case). Perhaps another forum user will have more experience with using the Checkpoint Flyer Case with an Ego or Super Ego .

    I hope this helps!

I feel like a total addict by confessing this -- but I have both the Ego and the Super Ego. The Ego is for everyday use, when I don't need to take my computer with me. I have way too many papers and stuff. The Super Ego is for travel and it has a lovely Brain Cell to protect my computer. My only regret is that I got the same color combination for the two bags. I would have changed it up had I only thought about it a little more. As far as regrets go, I can deal!

I love my Ego and use it everyday. I am able to fit my laptop in a neoprene case and iPad, files in a large organizer pouche plus a book into the back section. The front section has chargers, mouse, cameras, notebook, pens, etc. I don't always carry my laptop but the iPad is almost always in the bag.

I think that it is the perfect size for most

I don't have a Checkpoint Flyer Case yet, but I was thinking it might be handy to use as a TSA approved laptop case inside of the Ego. That way at security you could just take the entire case out and put it through the scanner. Has anyone done this?

Putting your laptop in a cache and then simply pulling it out as you are suggesting with the Checkpoint Flyer case would accomplish the same thing and save $40.

It's not exactly the same: the Checkpoint Flyer case provides more protection than the Cache does.

It's also worth mentioning that many of our customers use the Brain Cell as a checkpoint friendly case. Technically, because it has a pocket on the front, it isn't checkpoint friendly, but those who have kept that pocket empty haven't had any problems using it that way - that we've heard of, anyhow.
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)
