I have the Macbook Air 11, the Air11 Cache, and the Co-Pilot. The Air and Cache fit into the Co-Pilot's largest zippered compartment with room to spare for a paperback book. I'd like to see Tom Bihn add an attachment point to the Cache so it can be tethered to the Co-Pilot when it goes through the x-ray at the airport security line.

After having received my Co-Pilot...the "naked" 11.6inch Macbook Air fits fine. HOWEVER, in its sleeve (which is not the Tom Bihn cache but a more heavily padded sleeve made by a different company), it is a tight squeeze.

This isn't an issue for me, since I bought the thicker sleeve with the idea that if it didn't fit easily into the Co-Pilot I'd carry it in the slightly larger tote bag I have -- I can take two bags on my upcoming trip. I just thought I'd point this out, to follow up on my earlier post.

Darcy, great news on the new Ristretto (I won't need that extra space for my wallet anymore, either, as it will be empty) -- thanks!

The Ristretto is by no means huge for a 11.3 inch sized computer. I bought one for my 13 inch Toshiba Portege R705, which it fits like a glove. It also works great for my 10 inch Fujitsu P7230. So I wouldn't worry that it would be over-sized for the 11+ Mac.

Awesome -- thanks, bchaplin. I think someone posted earlier that it fit fine, but I'd love to hear (or see?) more about it. I think the Co-Pilot looks great and I would prefer to get one for traveling rather than use my Imago as well, mostly for the water bottle, I think. Thanks.

I'm getting the Co-Pilot this week. I will let you know how the MBA fits in it. (The Co-Pilot is for traveling, the Imago is my day-to-day bag.)

I do have an Imago -- thanks for that suggestion (haven't tried it yet). The Ristretto: isn't it kind of huge for the smaller 11.6" size? I might be being overly picky, I guess. I think I'm just trying to rationalize getting a new bag. Learning toward the Co-Pilot right now!

    Thanks again.

    Imago

The 11.6in Air, in a well-padded sleeve that is probably thicker than the Cache, fits very nicely in my Imago.

I have the Ristretto (Not the ipad version) and it works perfect for the 11.6" MBA. Could not be more happier. I'll see if I can get some pics up to show you.

I have a Buzz, and the MBA fits in there just fine -- sometimes it seems a little lost, even! I bought it for a MacBook 13" expecting to move up to a MacBook Pro 15" but I got the MBA instead

I'm thinking of going to a smaller bag for the MBA, but I can't decide if I want a Ristretto, Co-Pilot or something else...

In a word, NO, it won't fit in a Small Cafe Bag. Here are a couple of pics of my MBA 11.6" in a MEDIUM Cafe Bag -- I don't recommend it.
