Aeronauts are now unlined?

Is it correct that the Aeronauts are now made with an unlined main compartment?

It's more that the way the bag is constructed/assembled has changed... Shell material in main compartment, halcyon in end pockets.

I think the best explanation I've seen is that the interior of the main compartment has always been one layer of fabric (so maybe not a "lining" really) but that one layer used to be halcyon, and is now the same material as the exterior.

Hey Bihn crew! Can you confirm the lack of Halcyon liner throughout the main compartment ? Noticed it wasn’t listed in the changes above but the product photo on the nebulous grey/island shows interior ballistic where it’s been double lined before

Instead of using colourful halcyon as the main fabric that you see inside an Aeronaut, TB changed it to the same colour/material as the exterior.... sigh.

I have asked TB for halcyon lining to be *ADDED* to the new version of the Aeronaut middle section. This solution makes sense to me, keep durability plus give loyal customers what they want - a colourful halcyon interior. I will also ask for this in the 2023 wish list.
