First hand experience, a washing machine very likely won't destroy it! I've put several bags through a front loader cycle and they have all survived (Synapse, shop bags, Swift). No damage is visible. I wouldn't hesitate to put a cafe bag inside of a mesh bag and throw it in the washer.

  • Removing colour transfer from my Canary Cafe Bag?

Hello everyone! I am new here, though I have a very nice and loved collection of Tom Bihn bags and accessories.

I need some advice on how to deal with the colour transfer from my black jeans to my beautiful Canary Large Cafe Bag. I tried hand washing it with some gentle soap, but as it is not dirt, I wasn’t able to clean it. I don’t want to put in it in the washing machine on a cold cycle, because i am afraid it will be destroyed.

    Does anyone have any advice?

    thank you!!!
