Am looking to get a crossbody to put my Steam Deck in and the Maker's Bag is too big for my liking, so I'm hoping the Icon would suffice but I'm concerned about the zip placement.

Can any Icon owners confirm if a Steam Deck can fit inside?

Working from the quoted dimensions of the Steam Deck case (from trying to look this up) as 13.39" x 6.69" x 3.15"/ 34.0 x 17.0 x 8.0 cm the Icon isn’t going to be wide enough to hold the Steam Deck in its case, regardless of zipper placement. I think you have a Daylight Briefcase? How would that work for you? That seems to me a better size option unless I want to carry a lot more stuff, in which case I wouldn’t be considering an Icon. I carry an 11” iPad Pro in my Icon. 13.39”/34.0 cm is larger than my current 2021 14” MacBook Pro.
HTH. Maybe someone who has a Steam Deck can answer which bags work best with it
ETA: I like my bags to be multifunctional and I’m a fan of the Daylight Briefcase, but if you’re interested in a bag that was specifically designed to carry every possible Steam Deck related accessory, take a look at Waterfield’s Complete Case for the Steam Deck
