Carry EpiPens?

I use the pen/pencil clear organizer pouch and knitting tool pouch size two for my epi pens (the knitting tool pouches aren’t available right now but you can always email the amazing TB customer service team for information about when they may be available). I can fit my epi pens in a small ghost whale pouch, though I prefer the clear pouches so others can see them if I need assistance. If you do some google/forum searches, you can find other helpful posts about what others have done. I’ve tried to link a few here that I found helpful. As always, I find it best to measure to have an idea of whether the bags/pouches should work, as I’ve had varying sizes of epi pens over the years.

I quickly grabbed an old picture posted here by maverick of an EpiPen in the First Aid Pouch. I think you would need the larger HLT 2. I also grabbed a picture of the size of the new smaller EpiPens that a Ravelry forum user was using.

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for small pouches for carrying EpiPens? Specifically I was wondering if anyone knows if they fit in the small Ghost Whale pouch, but I’d love to hear any other suggestions!

I don’t know what other accessories you have, but the First and Second Aid Pouches have an elastic band when you open up the pouch where you can insert two (regular) pens, but where you can also insert the more recent generation of smaller EpiPens. The Handy Little Things (HLT 1 and HLT 2), are also built that way, so that among the things that you can carry, 2 EpiPens, or an EpiPen and a regular pen are easily accessed when the pouch is opened. This can be extra handy because most people use those accessories and their built-in pouches for general access items such as notesbooks, cables, markers, their Kindles, etc. So also having easy access to an EpiPen is a plus. Of course you could use pen/pencil organizer pouch, too, but having the option of a general small clamshell design case that holds other items and also gives easy access to an EpiPen can be super useful. I’ll have to do a search for a picture of EpiPens in the HLT (instead of the First or Second Aid Pouch, because the pictures I am thinking of were posted to the Tom Bihn Knitting Bag Forum on Ravelry, where I am also a moderator, and that’s a closed forum (you have to be a member with a login to view posts and pictures). I also need to check whether the smaller HLT 1 will work with this — I’m sure the HLT 2 does. And I need to find the recent model slimmer EpiPens that were used for this, since I don’t use EpiPens myself.

I’m a bit swamped with work meetings right now so I will follow up on this.
