I just got a techonaut 45 for an upcoming trip and now I'm thinking I might need a HLT to organize my electronics on said trip. It'll be phone charger (10ft cord), iPad charger, smart watch charger, go pro charger, international adapters, Mogics donut power strip, earbuds, and slim power bank. Between the HLT1 and HLT2 I'm leaning towards the size 2 for the added space and versatility, but will it fit in the top quick access pocket of the T45? I feel like it should, but when I emailed TB they said it was too thick? Looking for real world experience, thanks in advance!

Will a HLT2 fit?

Welcome to the Forums Cnt10 !
The top pocket is mostly 2D, so agree that a HLT with reasonable cords will be too big.
FWIW, I use Snake Charmers for my electronic paraphernalia because I prefer the more unstructured semi jumbled nature vs the more organized HLT.“Them as can do has to do for them as can't. And someone has to speak up for them as has no voices.”

You’ll definitely need the HLT2 as the 10ft cord and Donut alone will take up a fair bit of space and the HLT1 is much smaller than the HLT2.
A HLT2 filled with your load will be a pain to put in and take out of the T45 top pocket and may not even fit if the main compartment is fully loaded.Last edited by latchford; 05-15-2023, 05:09 PM.🏳️🌈

I usually use the small and no, it really doesn't fit in the outside pockets. Those pockets are mostly 2D, though the water bottle pocket is bigger but it borrows space from the main compartment.
Those outside pockets' utility really depends a lot on how full the main compartment is.
If I'm only carrying one bag on a trip, the SSC just goes inside the big end pocket or the main.“Them as can do has to do for them as can't. And someone has to speak up for them as has no voices.”
