I think the Guardian Light has been redesigned with a different clip than the one shown on the product page. I bought one in December and was at first disappointed that it didn't come up with a separate clip as pictured (to use without the lanyard). But when I got my Small Cafe Bag last month and saw how perfectly it fits the strap, I realized that it's probably just going to live there.

Yes, please share! Mine always falls off when I clip it on that way, especially when I go over a bump on my bike. On mine, there's not a lot of tension on the clip.

It was great to see how the Guardian Light was wrapped around the cafe bag strap. Can you tell me how?!! I could not quite figure out what you did with the clip?
