As the iPad2 is the same size, just a little thinner, the answer must be yes. However, the real question would have to be, 'which covers, if any, fit in the cache?' I wonder how much extra bulk the cash can accommodate.

I know it will fit the apple case on the iPad in the vertical case. It is snug but works perfect.

the ipad 2 with and without the apple smart cover fits nicely in the cache.
