    Shop bag

Hey, has anyone ever tried to fold one of the large shop bags into a medium pouch?

It's a bit too big for the small pouch and for some odd reason, I've never ordered a medium one.

I'd love to be able to squish it into a pouch and clip it on so I don't have to worry about it coming out of my Swift.

Check out maverick's video on how to fold the Shop Bag.
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

for you my dear enabler ;-} ask and you shall receive

I saw your post, and was hoping somebody else would oblige because several of my kids, and I have had some sort of flu/cold/black plague this week. . . but things are calm at the moment and I saw that nobody had taken your pictures yet so here goes. Sorry for the crappy lighting and less than perfect composition.
large shop bag folded per maverick's video and beside medium pouch:

large shop bag inside of medium pouch, it looks messy because it is, it was a tight but doable squeeze, I had to be careful to not zip the dyneema into the zipper

using the o-ring on the shop bag to just clip on to a colored key strap (easiest and best choice imho to attach the large shop bag inside of a swift or any other TB bag.

you will see a bit of the large shop bag pulling out of the packet that is formed when it's completely folded, but not much.
        I hope this helps

Great photos, dorayme! I hope you and your family get better soon.

Everyone: make sure not to crush or stuff the Shop Bag inside of a Stuff Sack or Organizer Pouch -- it could, over time, destroy the piping that helps the Shop Bag keep its shape.

              the crushing truth

Thanks Darcy, after 2 days of Dr. visits and I don't even want to say how much in prescriptions, homeopathics and otc meds I hope we are on the mend.
It's good to know about the bags and to fold them vs. trying to squish them down. I keep mine folded when not in use, but I wonder if everybody does that? I'll be gifting one from my coming order (squee) to my mom and will be sure to advise her as well.
And fwiw to whoever cares to know the last photo was actually taken last, so the shop bag recovered from the 30 seconds that it was in the medium pouch. I'm glad I didn't get distracted with a kidlet though and leave it there for any period of time. I love my TB bags and want them to stay nice and healthy for years of use to come.
