I have a co-pilot that I adore. I store my iphone and sunglasses in the front right (if I'm carrying it on my right side) pocket, my Tom Bihn wallet, flashlight and pens in the left front pocket, and in the middle pocket, I have either an umbrella, an insulated mug or cup, or my son's emergency medicines (he has anaphylactic allergies and asthma, so I always carry 2 epipens, benadryl, an aerochamber, and a ventolin puffer when he is with me). I am wondering if anyone can tell me if the Kit will fit into that front middle pocket? I am thinking that the kit would make a great, small case to hold my son's medicines (and some bandaids etc.). Thanks in advance, Veo

HI 123veo,
I put my totally stuffed Kit in the middle (water bottle) pocket of my Co-Pilot. Getting it in there was a small fuss. I had to poke it around a bit, took five seconds or less. Once in there it fits just fine. No trouble working the zipper or anything. Keep in mind my Kit is stuffed too. One less thing in it would make it easier I think.

Hi 123veo,
It was more the shape of the kit I think. The bottom of the kit just didn't want to squish into the pocket. The other issue was that it is stuffed. This morning I took some stuff out of the Kit and it worked a bit better. Being able to fold the top of it over some helped. Once its in there it was just fine stuffed or not. I found that taking it out of the pocket was no slam dunk either. Again because of the shape of the bottom of the Kit and having it overstuffed. Please understand this bit of trouble was just that a "bit" it was not a big hassle or anything. A medium (FOJ) Pouch fits in there too if that helps any.
Take care,

Thanks everyone! Moose, your comments have helped a lot, thanks. Hey Susan, I don't think that the organizer cube is quite big enough for all of the stuff I need to pack (2 epipens, benadryl, an aerochamber, and a ventolin puffer) - at least I don't think that it would be big enough. I even thought of the small stuff sack, but it would be too short for the epipens! The search continues...

Hi 123veo,
Have you considered a pouch? They are pretty flexible. My medium fit just fine, in fact there was room left over. This might be a bit off the wall but maybe a small wide mouth water bottle. I know you can purchase a large nalgene bottle stuffed first aid items, maybe you could customize one to fit your needs. It would slip into the water bottle pocket easily and still protect your precious meds. I have a dear friend that carries epi pens for her child, I know how important it is to protect them. They are life savers. If the idea is just too wierd please disregard.

123veo,
You are most welcome. It'd be really easy to clean the water bottle too. Seems it'd be important to keep meds clean and dry. I'd love to know what you finally find that works for you. I'm told that I'm really good at finding different (that'd be odd) ways to use things. Odd sort of fits my life.

Have you thought about the side effect? Could double as a mini-purse.
I dont actually own the copilot or the side effect, so can't say whether they fit.
Side effect seems really handy....My little set of TB stuff:
Western Flyer (steel/ultraviolet)
Small Pouch (cork)
Large Shop Bag (solar)
packing cubes
