Best bag for iPad plus 13" MacBook Air?

Sorry for posting such a similar question, but rather than an 11" Air, I'm looking for a bag which could carry:

    1) Macbook Air 13" [height: 12.8", width 8.94", thickness .68] Currently carrying it in a G-Force sleeve which takes the full thickness to about 1", width to 13", width to 9.25".
    2) iPad 1 in Dodocase which takes the full size to about 3/4" thick, height 9.75", width 7.5"
    3) HyperJuice external battery [height 4.92", width 3.78", thickness 0.83"]
    4) Charging cables to hook the battery to the iPad and Air

The Imago looks like it'd handle everything, but it looks like it may be bigger than necessary for the job. I love the look of the Ristretto for 13" Macbook/Air, but I'm not sure whether the side pocket would fit the iPad, battery, and cables.

Any suggestions or experiences would be welcome. Thank you!

    Stany,

I believe that the Ristretto for 13" Macbook would be an ideal fit for you. However--I feel like you might not be completely understand the way it's built--or I'm mistaking what you're saying when you mention the "side pocket." For all intensive purposes--there are two pockets. The main pocket which has a padded section for the device, and the front pocket which has organizational helpers. For what I'm seeing with your post, you've got about 3.5" of thickness you need to get in there between your iPad, Macbook Air, and Battery. I have attached a picture below of what I have inside of my Ristretto for iPad. Depth wise, it is the same as the the 13" counterpart. I have my iPad, in the 1st gen Apple Case, a Ledger that is ~ .5" thick, and my Kindle inside of a Tom Bihn Padded Kindle Pouch. I have to add that there is still a good inch to maybe an inch and a half of give room in the main compartment. In the front compartment, I have a Small Tom Bihn Organizer Pouch (Iberrian Dyneema) with my iPad charger + cable in there. In the zippered compartment, I have a Mini-padded pouch as well. The point I'm trying to make here is--there's still space to work with.

I also have a picture of my Ristretto with an iPad in the padded compartment, and a dSLR + spare lens in the main compartment.

The last picture was taken with my HTC Evo--so obviously not the best quality ever.

Thanks! I did misunderstand how the pockets were designed. Your photos helped to make the design much clearer.

Off to order my Ristretto now!

      Thanks again.

I am probably going to do the same today. I really want a streamlined way to carry my new 13" Macbook Air that I picked up last week--unfortunately--the Ristretto of iPad cannot be made to work with the 13" MBA in any way, shape, or form

So it'll be off to eBay with the Ristretto, and incoming new 13" Ristretto from my friends out in Seattle.
