    Ultrasuede Washing Instructions?

    Hi guys,

I've been using my TB Ultrasuede Cleaning Cloths for quite some time now and although I can't see evidence of it, I'm sure some oils from my glasses and/or iPhone have gotten into it. I read that Ultrasuede is machine-washable... Is this the TB-recommended way of laundering the Ultrasuede Cleaning Cloths?

I assume that since the laundering advice for many TB bags is to hand-wash in the tub with mild detergent, and since many TB bags have Ultrasuede in them, one would also be safe doing the same with the Ultrasuede Cleaning Cloth on its own?

Has anyone tried washing these already? It's been a year since they've been introduced... Surely there's someone...? Or the Ultrasuede Shoulder Strap Wrap, although that does have the extra foam to make things tricky...

I frequently throw mine in the washer with a load of clothes, then toss it on top of the dryer to air dry, rather than put it in with the fabric softener sheets in the dryer. In my opinion they come out as good as new! I recently got an iPad, and I trimmed one down so that it can lay across the screen under the smart cover when I'm not using it. Then, it's always handy for the frequent cleaning the screen requires. I think I'll be washing it often.

We recommend hand-washing the Ultrasuede® Screen Cloth with a very small amount of mild soap. It can be machine washed, but make sure you first put it in a netted bag. You can even dry clean it if you'd like.

Hmm... I think just a swipe with a damp rag should clean the Strap Wrap easily . Ultrasuede is very easy to clean

I wish these ultrasuede cloths were still being made...
