    Medium Cafe Bag

Does anyone have a picture of the medium cafe bag in storm, azalea, or turquoise? I haven't run across pictures of these colors yet and would love to see them!

Also, does anyone have a preference of a MCB over a SCB? I have a SCB in cocoa and it works great, but there are times when I'd love to be able to add something I purchased to the bag. I'm just not sure how much more you can stuff into a medium v. a small.

    Thanks!

I don't have any pictures but you can get a boatload more in the medium. I can put in a wallet, several checkbooks in one of the pockets, my smartphone in the second pocket, a case for the sunglasses that you wear over regular glasses, my Kindle in a case, a couple of key rings on a strap attached to an o-ring, a couple of lights on straps on another o-ring, and I still have room to stuff more in.
Cocoa/wasabi LCB, black/wasabi MCB & SCB, steel/solar Aeronaut, Absolute Shoulder Strap, 5 packing cubes, olive Clear Organizer Wallet, turquoise & wasabi large clear organizer pouches, plum & black pen/pencil organizer pouches, 5 Clear/Cordura Organizer Pouches (mini & small/assorted colors), azalea 3-D Clear Organizer Cube, lapis blue & iberian Ultrasuede Screen Cloths, solar Travel Tray, 5 key straps (assorted lengths/colors), red/blue Strapeez, red Guardian Dual Function Light

I just bought a Café Bag in one of those colors, and I will be posting a picture soon (I can't do it yet because it's a gift and it hasn't been presented yet, and sometimes the recipient reads the forum). I will say that the bag I bought has beautiful, rich color both inside and out and looks great!

I'll second kcarroll55 on the MCB's carrying capacity. Recently, I've been taking it to work with the following: pen, earbuds, Advil, eyedrops, lotion and sticky notes in the zip pocket; and in the big compartment, an 18-ounce klean canteen, medium Moleskine journal, papers, 17-ounce can of coconut water, apple, 2 little tupperwares with nuts or such inside, and my bento box (and sometimes my hashibako). It holds all that and could easily hold more. For instance, sometimes I take my iPad and its charger, or a library book, and while it's a little tighter, everything still fits.

I do not have a SCB, but I find the MCB a very useful size. I am able to just carry the essentials and even handle impromptu shopping, kid gear donations, and the proverbial hubbie pocket dump, "can you put this in your purse"?
My posts have my typical list of what's in my bag.
I really, really like TB Bags!

If I can figure out how to do a cross-link, here is a photo of my LCB in Azalea. I absolutely love the color, and I love the bag, which I use when I want to carry my 11-inch Macbook Air.

I don't have an SCB, but I do also have an MCB, and though I love the Azalea of my larger bag, I find myself using the smaller MCB (Crimson/Steel) more often. It seems to hit the right "sweet spot" in terms of size, and I can still fit a lot in there. I typically use it to carry my iPad (in a felt case), my wireless keyboard, my new Kindle Touch (!), a notebook, a Pen/Pencil Organizer Bag stuffed with all sorts of pens and highlighters, a mini Organizer Pouch with a stylus, screen cloth in it, a foldable iPad stand, and much more. If I'm headed out for the day, my wallet, keys, and a thermal mug can all fit in as well, with a small Organizer Pouch filled with toiletries, my sunglasses, cell phone and more.

              Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the lists and pictures. Sounds like the MCB would be a great item for my Christmas list. The SCB works great for me most weekends. I keep my toiletries (eye drops, tissue, nail clippers, nail file, antibacterial gel, etc) in a 3D organizer cube and change it over from my co-pilot (work bag) to the SCB for the weekend. Works great, but I could use a bit more room for purchases!

By the way, I feel like I'm now chatting with famous people, having read your posts for so long. I've followed the forum for months now and finally started posting myself. Nice to meet everyone! I hope to take pictures soon and post them.

                    Welcome, dwright17.

I own a navy medium cafe bag and a navy small cafe bag. I use the small cafe bag every day. I plan to use the medium mostly for air travel, and special events such as day trips. I thought putting one inside of the other might help show the difference. Both bags are empty.

Thanks everyone! Glad to be here!

@SusanM thanks for the picture. That's really helpful. It looks like the MCB will hold a lot more without being an overwhelming bag. Now to decide which color! I'm leaning toward conifer or storm right now but it changes daily. Since I'm suggesting this in response to what I'd like for Christmas maybe I should have them pick the color!

I hope this posts correctly and please forgive me if it doesn't. My PC died today and I'm working off my iPhone. The good news is I purchased an iMac on a Black Friday special and it'll be here in a week!

That's the best Black Friday purchase I've ever heard of.

I hope you managed to save all your files and stuff before your old computer shuffled off this mortal coil.

I didn't, Badger, and I'm heartbroken AND feel like a fool. I may have lost hundreds of pictures. I was backing up to Dell Datasafe, but it kept giving me error messages. I hadn't followed up on it yet, and then the Dell poofed on Friday. Here's the other heartbreak - I had purchased a MBA 13" last Sunday, as I really wanted a laptop. But I have a pretty significant vision impairment, and I just couldn't get the screen set up large enough to be able to use it comfortably. I had transferred the entire contents of my PC onto the MBA before realizing it wouldn't work. I took it back 2 days before the PC died! I bought this iMac from Best Buy also, and asked them if the MBA was still there so I could retrieve my data. The rep said they wipe the disks as soon as they're returned. I don't really know if that was the real answer or if she wasn't about to go hunting for a returned laptop on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but either way, that's not an option. The PC is at the Data Doctor store and I'll find out on Monday or Tuesday if he can get the data back. But all that aside, I have a big screen in front of me now and I can see great AND it's a Mac! Merry Christmas to me! Okay, us, as my husband will use it, too. If he can drag me off of it.

@SusanM, now I want navy! Your picture really is great, especially when I view it in living color on a good sized screen!

I use the Small Cafe Bag with the Synapse as a local travel bag on public transports.

I know I could use the room of the medium but choosing the Small Cafe Bag forces me to pare down to the essential, it is also mighty cute.

On trips, the Large Cafe Bag and the Brain Bag.

I'm so sorry to hear about your data loss; those photos especially are irreplaceable. I'm crossing my fingers for you and hoping the Data Doctors can retrieve those photos and everything else off your departed PC. And congratulations on the big new iMac!
