    Zipper on Kindle Pouches?

I'm about to pick up a Kindle Touch and wondered if anyone has experience with the Kindle pouches? Should I be worried at all about using the Touch without an additional cover? It appears the zipper is not shielded at all and could be in contact regularly as the Touch is inserted and removed. Just not sure how delicate the device is and whether or not I should be concerned about it getting scratched, etc.

Also, I see the pouch is designed to fit a slightly larger device but I assume the Touch will fit fine. Thoughts?

I have a Kindle Touch and it fits fine inside the Pouch, with a scant inch of headroom above the Touch, so I don't think you have to worry about the zipper rubbing against your Touch while it's in the pouch. I've found that there isn't a lot of clearance, however, when you are moving the Touch in and out of the pouch through the zipper, but if you're careful, there shouldn't be a problem with scratching. I don't think the Touch is that prone to scratches in any event; and the screen is recessed, so the bezel of the device acts as a kind of protection for the screen.

Thanks! I just placed my order and can't wait to protect my Touch in its new case!

The zippers we use on all Organizer Pouches, including the Kindle Pouches, are soft, polyester plastic zippers that we've never seen scratch electronic devices. (We put our iPhones and stuff like that in these pouches.) That's why we chose to use that kind of zipper.
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

UPDATE: I received my Kindle Pouch yesterday. I ordered the padded version, as I travel a lot and wanted to have a little protection. Not sure why I had any concerns; as with everything Tom Bihn, it's pretty much perfect. I have the Kindle Touch, and it fits great, with just the right amount of room so that I don't feel like I'm forcing it into a glove. Thanks!!
