PCSB in a LS or Swift?

I'm still trying to decide between a LS & a Swift. I usually carry my iPad, 3d organizer cube with meds, approx 3 small pouches with cables, iPod, and a few other misc items, moleskine planner, and my Coach wristlet.

I also want to get a PCSB to use inside for extra security for my iPad. Will the PCSB fit with the iPad in the LS along with my other items or should I get the Swift?

    TIA!

It should all fit I believe. The PCSB isn't going to take up much room, Dyneema is stealth fabric, however the iPad in horizontal position reduces the ability for the bag to expand to the sides. Because the base is oval, the iPad needs to rest at the center of the LS. The main compartment is effectively divided into half when the iPad is in place. The fit for the coach wristlet is of biggest concern as it seems like the second largest item. It may be hard to retrieve, and or move aside to retrive anything else.
The Swift will allow for more wiggle room, and allow you to retrieve things easier.
I really, really like TB Bags!

I carry the iPad in my Little Swift all the time, but I use a Cache, which I think gives more protection than the PCSB. I'd have to check my PCSB to see whether it would easily fit the iPad. I think all the items you mentioned, apart from the Coach Wristlet, are easily carried in the LS. In the Cache I can carry the iPad either horizontally or vertically. With the PCSB, you might want to carry the iPad horizontally for more protection, and as dorayme says, that might give you less wiggle room for an item like the Coach Wristlet. I have to say that I prefer to carry my iPad in the LS, though I can also carry it in the Swift. It's just so much more compact and handy. I don't have that good a feel for the size of the Coach Wristlet, though -- just going according to the web page images.

I have my iPad in a Switcheasy Canvas case so I thought about getting the PCSB just to hide it a little better while carrying it in the LS or Swift. I read where people tether it with the keystraps to the o-rings and thought it was a great idea. My Coach wristlet is approx 7"x4". I guess I'll think about it some more. Thanks for the feedback so far.

I use the PCSB as a security pocket in my Swift, not in my LS. The PCSB is a rectangle about as long as the widest part of the LS. It is also high enough to show on the exposed side of the LS. This is easier to explain with photos . I can post a few after work tonight if you want.

I think I get what your saying, but if you don't mind posting pics (no rush) I'd greatly appreciate it!

Some photos. The blue hygiene kit is sold by Target in their travel/luggage section. I used it to stuff the PCSB for the purpose of illustrating how the PCSB fits inside the LS and the Swift. I like to put the PCSB sitting in my bag horizontally with the zipper on top. I do not have an iPad so cannot help you there.

I do not like my bag super stuffed - same applies if I were using the PCSB, particularly because the PCSB is just one big hole. To give it organization, I put my TB organizer wallets (I normally carry 3 of them) + USB drives (I also carry 3 small ones) in a padded OP or medium cork OP. I put that in the middle of the PCSB and put other items on either side. Oh, I keep the zipper of the medium OP open so I can get to my wallets easier.

I do same when using my LS - I put a medium padded, cork or forest ballistic pouch in the middle of the middle as a divider. Then I put other items (mostly in TB OPs) on either side. The padded, cork and ballistic pouches are more structured than dyneema; I have no cordura pouches. I have an insane number of dyneema pouches.

Sorry for long post - cannot be helped; I am talking TB bags and pouches

                    one more thing . . . .

This is my LS back from work today. It is pretty packed full, but I like it that I can grab my items without having to remove anything. The LS pocket that looks empty has some candies in it

Next to my LS is the large shop bag in Dyneema, doing its job as a gym bag.

I guess I'll keep holding out till a LS comes in a color and/or fabric I like. I was hoping the LS would be too small so then I would be forced to get the Swift. But then again, maybe I'll get the black Swift I've been eyeing....I just don't know.

yes, and no. The LS handle is made from firmer materials with more body. Both are padded with poron foam and armpittable so both are comfortable to carry over the shoulder or at arm's length in the hand.
The bags however are completely different How they are shaped and structured, the interior design, etc. Very different.
