Greetings all:
I want to buy a cache for my laptop (Dell Latitude E4300 w/ 6 cell battery). currently have a 6T Braincell that it fits in per Laptop Case finder, with a little room to spare. According to specs I read online, the PC is 12.2 x 8.6 x 1" - that said i am struggling with what size cache to purchase (I was surprised that it actually fit in my Co-Pilot, albeit very snug). I have been carrying it in an Empire Builder, but I believe I am going to give that to my husband as it is just a little too big for me (lucky man !!). I recently purchased the large Cadet and that is what I will be carrying it in. Looking at the dimensions of the standard Cadet Caches, the 13" looks like it may be just a little short and the 15" a little thin. I did see mention of a size 5, in the drop down, but can find no information on dimensions. I think I am going to take the plunge for the 13" but if anyone has any suggestions I would welcome them all.
I have become hooked on this site and the Tom Bihn products in general. I am a recent convert from Red Oxx (own most of their bags as well)- many years I have carried that brand, and found this site by shear accident. Since then, (November) I have become insatiable! Tri-Star, Aeronaut, Co-Pilot, Cadet, Travel Tray, Packing Cubes and too many pouches to count !! My husband thinks I have lost my mind. The Navy items are just so gorgeous I can't stop myself. I travel about 3 of 4 weeks a month, so am getting to try out all. My dream bag I believe will be the "Pilot" that has been hinted at. Honestly, I absolutely love the design of my Co-Pilot and had it been large enough to be an actual laptop bag, I would probably have purchased that over the Cadet. Will just have to wait and see what Tom has in mind for 2012. Really enjoy the site, and hope someone can help me with the size 5 dimensions. Thanks ahead.
