Synapse, okay for taller folk?

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I'm not too worried how it looks, in terms of it maybe being a bit on the small side, I just didn't want there to be an issue with fit when it comes to straps etc. Now to settle on a colour!

My husband is 6' and has used (my!) Synapse and really liked it. It looked a bit small on him but not overly so. It was fairly full but not with anything particularly heavy. His jacket took up most of the room in the interior compartment (big people = big clothes; only tiny people with small, thin clothes can pack for days in this bag).
He, like me, uses the one shoulder approach for carrying backpacks. For this purpose, it is perfectly fine. If however you want to load it down with heavy stuff, run across the airport, use both straps and the chest strap, etc. that may be a slightly different story and perhaps personal preference. I'm almost 5'3" and it fits me perfectly. I do wish it was maybe an 1" or so deeper (not longer or wider) so I could get a bit more in the main compartment but definitely not a deal breaker. This is an awesome backpack.

I don't know how tall Tom Bihn is but the Synapse looks great on him.
I think the height suggestion comes from trying it on the Tom Bihn crew and the feedback of Seattle then worldwide customers.
Children have been known to "borrow" their parents' Tom Bihn Bags and so did a couple of spouses resulting in more purchases from the original Tom Bihn customer.
Let me find pictures of people wearing the Synapse.

Hi guys,
I noticed on the Synapse's FAQ page that it suggests it's suitable for people up to about 6'2", I'm 6'3" and I guess a fairly slim to average build, I assume that one extra inch isn't going to cause any problems with the fit etc?Tags: None
