The Swift is not actually "lined". The two clear pockets have a back of steel dyneema. Those pockets go about halfway doen the sides of the regular sized Swift. The orangey color you are seeing is the back of the cork fabric and it is actually more of a sedate tan than the rather bright orange seen in some pictures. At least that is how my Swift (purachased about 7 months ago) is configured.WhiteStar in Colorado

Everything White Star said, but also to add the lighter lining can help with finding lost items. Also the cork fabric backing is kind of suedy. It's hard to describe, but it's soft like flannel. Do you have any pouches in cork? It's the same as the inside of those.I really, really like TB Bags!

Oh Thank you. I do have a pouch and it is wonderful. I have a forest hemp swift and I love, love, love it. I'm a writer and a mom so I always have books and kid stuff with me. The swift is great for keeping it all in one place. Has the cork "fabric" been durable? I'm pondering a new FALL bag to go with my traditional new box of crayons to start the school year. This is the one I'm looking into. Thoughts?

Of course a picture is worth a thousand words and every time I see one of the Cork bags I swoon. Today I used my Cork Swift as my mom bag accessory to haul around my Teacher's Manuals and my FJN on some errands I needed to run. It was in no way full, but of course you would know it's capacity from your experiences. The Cork fabric is very durable and it looks great as in, can cross over into dressier settings or come across very bohemian and causal. It's not "like" an animal print (it's way better), but it works like an animal print in fashion rules.
eta, that last sentence doesn't sound like I want it to, probably because I am not a fan of animal prints. The animal print reference is to say that it's a sophisticated neutral. That and it's truly unique, no two bags are alike due to the nature of Cork fabric.Last edited by dorayme; 08-02-2012, 07:39 PM.I really, really like TB Bags!
