Delivery to the UK - taxes

    Hi,

This is a question for anybody from the UK who has bought Tom Bihn Bags.

I'd like to buy a Western Flyer, plus accessories which will probably come to $300 -$350. Does anyone know what I'd be expecting to pay in the way of taxes (i.e anything on top of TB's charges and delivery costs)?

    Thanks,
    Joe

Hi Joe - as a rough guide - I recently paid the UPS delivery guy approximately 24 pounds for an order that was the equivalent of approx. 236 pounds sterling. I also paid approx 11 pounds for an order that was the equivalent of 89 pounds sterling. Hope that helps, Helen.

My charges were the same as helen_uk. Basically VAT is payable, then the delivery company charge also for getting it through customs. There are no import duties to pay.

The price I paid for delivery to Scotland was very similar, I'm sure it was £21 that I paid to the UPS man for an order of £210.
