Packing Cube Shoulder Bag and Synapse

Hi, new to the forum here and recently ordered my Synapse 19. I am now looking to accessorize my Synapse and came across the Packing Cube Shoulder Bag. From the info given, the PCSB doesn't seem to fit horizontally in the Synapse as the base of the PCSB is 11.75" and the width of the Synapse is 11.4". Has anyone tried this combo or is it a fertile attempt in reality?

Yes I know I can fit the PCSB short side in but that's not my question.

I just stuffed a bunch of towels in my PCSB and it fit fine horizontally in my dyneema Synapse 19. I will see if I can find something more rigid to put in the PCSB to test but I think there is no problem. Also my medium tri-star packing cube works well in my Synapse for travel.

Thanks Sue for your helpful response! Had another look and I think I'll order the medium tri-star packing cube instead.
