    bottom front pocket cordura Synapse19

    I have a Synapse 19. I am looking to add a shop bag (I actually "back"ordered a large).

This is a cordura S19 with two O-rings in the bottom front pocket(older style?).

Will it fit -- or should I cancel the order and order the small?

I have a cache on rails which provides good structure all the way from top to bottom (if that helps or hinder).

    Thanks!

Yes, of course either size Shop Bag will fit in the bottom pocket of the Synapse 19. After all, the Dyneema is light-weight and can be folded or rolled any way you like. The 400d Dyneema bags are heavier weight, so a bit stiffer to fold, but packing them in the bottom pocket, along with other items like the 3D Organizer cubes is certainly doable. I usually carry a small Shop Bag in the side pocket, so I can easily get it out while carrying the bag. (See the Synapse continues to Surprise thread. The side pocket most easily accommodates the Small Shop Bag (in either weight of Dyneema), rolled and inserted. I have managed to insert the large Shop Bag (in lighter weight Dyneema) into that side pocket, but it doesn't pull out in the same easy fashion as the Small Shop Bag does.

Is this your first Shop Bag? I used to feel guilty about the number of Shop Bags I have, but I use them all the time.

This is my first shop bag. I am very slowly building out my TB collection.

I received my shop bag (large) yesterday. It took a good amount of effort to get the bag into the lower front pocket. Maybe it is because I had the inside too stuffed? Or maybe it was stiff from being brand new

Today it was easier, I rolled the shop bag and folded it in half. I hope it doesn't have long term issues. The bag was supposed to be on backorder until next month. I got it yesterday!

Well, I found the video that explains how to make it even smaller and organized:

Thanks for the video link! I had no idea one could fold it up like that. This makes it much easier to manage when traveling.

The stockpile keeps growing...I'm in serious trouble.
