Packing Cubes for Co-Pilot

Try the Western Flyer Small packing Cube:
TB0955/TB0956 11.7" x 8.6" x 3" / 298 x 218 x 75mm
The Co-Pilot's dimensions are: 12" x 10" x 5" / 300 x 255 x 125 mm

You can fit in one of these packing cubes along with some 3D organizer cubes or Side Effects in the pockets of the main compartment.

Depending on what u are packing and the degree of further organization u are looking for,
Two Side effects "full" stand up very nicely in the main compartment with still room for something in the interior pockets.
I always keep one with the waist straps at the ready in case I need to run an errand with just the essentials.

I've placed the side effects into the pockets of the main section, but there is a point of "fullness" of the side effect that the pockets resist being used. I also find that the Parapack or dyneema SE's slip into those pockets with greater ease than the ballistic material.

Within those interior pockets I find the the "pencil case clear pouches" work very well in those pockets as they maximize the the height and tend to take up less width space.
Example, I use the pencil case to carry a toothbrush in holder, one once mouthwash bottle, dental floss, mini deodorant, toothpick brushy things, and a travel cologne, and two wet/dry towelettes.
Again, the dyneema tends to slide easier and cleans up better.

I also use the new coyote nano pouch to hold my coin change.

Agree with this, especially about the Dyneema Side Effects (and 3D Organizer Pouches) being easiest to slide in and out of those pockets. It's most noticeable if you're using the Side Effects, which take up more space in the pockets. I only have 3D Cubes (not Side Effects) in the Parapack, but if you're an Olive enthusiast who wants a Side Effect, I'm pretty sure you'll want to get the Side Effect in Olive 420d HT Parapack. The 3D Clear Organizer Cubes can be little sticky to pull in and out quickly, especially if these are new. You can see the old Question about the Urethane used thread for a history of the different levels of stickiness and clarity in the clear urethane used for pouches.

I assumed the original poster was looking for a packing cube that would maximize capacity for, say, clothes packing in the main compartment when I suggested the Small Western Flyer Packing Cube. I like the all fabric version for this, rather than the Fabric/Mesh combination, for the same reasons discussed above for the SE and 3D Organizer Cubes -- the all Dyneema version slides most easily in and out of the main compartment, and the small webbing tab makes it very easy to pull out.

I also use the Pen/Pencil case size of the clear organizer pouches, but generally put this in the side pocket of the Synapse. These work inside the Side Effect main compartment, but since I keep an iPad Mini in its case and Kindle in my Side Effect , I usually don't put a pen/pencil organizer pouch inside the main compartment. Instead I've been using the slighlty shorter size 2 Knitting Tool Pouch in the front zippered pocket. (Note that I've been carrying the half-size toothbrushes that United and some other airlines used to dispense in their Business upgrade packs some time ago, where the toothbrush is not folded, but just half height and short.). I find the shorter pouch length convenient for storing spoons or forks, especially since the end pieces of the pouch can secure the tines or holding ends. This pouch is just a bit too short to hold chopsticks, though.

This is a quick picture of the Small Western Flyer Packing Cube (all fabric) inside the Co-Pilot, with a 3D Organzier Cube in Wasabi and a Side Effect in Black 400d Dyneema/Wasabi in the two pockets. The Side Effect sits higher in the bag, but mine is not completely filled, because it's holding an iPad Mini in a case and Kindle Paperwhiite (among other items) inside, and the IPad Mini in its case means that also filling the Side Effect would seriously stretch the pockets. The Wasabi 3D cube is attached to the O-Ring with a Double Carabiner Clip. You can add these to both pouches/cubes in the pockets, if you want the extra security of making the packing cube and/or pouches harder to just lift out of the main compartment by casual others. Or you can use this as one way to store the Double Carabiner clips when you hang your Side Effect from the pocket of the seat in front. (I actually carry the clips in a pouch in the front zippered pocket if the Side Effect. I've only used one Double Carabiner Clip here, because it's easier to see the way it connects, and to see the triangular tab that can be used to lift the Packing Cube out of the Co-Pilot. I attach a handle loop to the Side Effect to make it easier to lift out. There's a full size iPad in the Cache siting in the outside pocket. not really necessary with the iPad Mini in the Side Effect, but just to show you this can be done if you're using the main compartment for the Packing Cube. Mine is holding a 3/4 length sleeve jacket, dress, and a Skirt, among the items. HTH. Sorry this was just taken with an iPad Camera.
