No such thing as too many ops, Hawaii, they all have a purpose, including but not limited to "being looked at and making owner very happy" ^.^

Having all those colors would be a godsend for people who like to color code their stuff.

Just a minor correction though, the Storm pouch in the pics I took isn't a DOP, it's a clear organizer pouch. I've tried unsuccessfully to get Storm DOPs in any sizes so far. Not going to give up, hope I don't drive the crew nuts in the process though!
And here I thought you had managed to get a Storm DOP! My pouch (in the picture) is a Medium Organizer Pouch in Storm. When I called in last Tuesday, and was told there had been a recent batch of new pouches, they identified a Medium DOP in Storm that turned out (on arrival) to be French Blue, which I already had.

None of the pictures of Turquoise seem to catch the vibrancy of this color -- it looks a bit like Robin's egg blue in the pictures instead of the deeper bright blue-green shade. @gochicken's pictures in the linked The Blues thread are better than mine. Bright colors like Turquoise and Azalea really "pop" against Black (or Black 400d Dyneema -- more so than Steel 400d Dyneema in this instance). Turquoise is also really good against Aubergine, but it's more difficult to add in other colors to the color set compared to Storm or French Blue.

If you like Burnt Orange, consider Cayenne. @kkintea has good pictures of Burnt Orange against Nordic (and other colors) of Dyneema in the photos in her post (#5) in @ncb4's thread, Burnt Orange, backorders, and the most thoughtful customer service ever!. Here are a few excerpted images showing various Dyneema items in Iberian, Wasabi, Ultraviolet, Steel, Solar, and Nordic tucked away in pockets so they can be viewed against the Burnt Orange Synapse 25:

The other Cayenne pouch that I miss is the Ultrasuede version of the Medium Organizer pouch that used to be sold as a Kindle pouch option (in the colors Leaf Green, Cayenne, and Cocoa Ultrasuede).

@GoStanford asked Does Nook Tablet pouch fit an iPad Mini? I answered that the iPad Mini in a cache would definitely not fit, and that I suspected that a naked iPad Mini would also not fit, even into the larger Nook Pouch, since it barely fit into the tapered, slightly wider Kindle Pouch, but didn't post pictures. Here are a few with the Ultrasuede Cayenne Medium Pouch and the Ultrasuede Cocoa Kindle Fire Pouch (again from that period in late June). I'll show them here so you can see the Ultrasuede, but I'll omit pictures showing the iPad Mini just barely slipping into the top opening of the tapered Kindle Pouch (that is slightly wider than the Nook Pouch). The Medium pouches work because the zipper is at the side, but I while I could slip in the iPad Mini in a thin case, the cache is bulkier.

iPad Mini overlying a Cocoa Ultrasuede Kindle Fire Pouch (sold out last year)

iPad Mini overlying Cayenne Ultrasuede Kindle Pouch (basically a medium organizer pouch in Ultrasuede -- offered some years ago):

Yup, my two small organizer pouches in periwinkle have probably seen the most use of all my pouches. The ripstop nylon isn't as colorfast as Cordura, so there's a little fading.

By the way @adalangdon, thought I would quote your current signature line for the benefit of Tapatalk users who can't see this:

ISO: Turquoise/Cayenne MCB, Pine Cafe Bag, Kiwi Little Swift, Ultrasuede Little Swift, Pink Swift, crimson and indigo ballistic pouches
This seems to have been updated since you first posted to include more items. The Ultrasuede Little Swift was only issued in Cocoa. I'm not sure there are many Indigo Ballistic Nylon pouches floating around -- the only accessory I have in Indigo Ballistic Nylon is the retired Kit. Because the last batch of Crimson Ballistic bags was made much more recently (the Aeronaut 45 size in February of 2014), I think you're more likely to find one or two Crimson Ballistic pouches -- maybe a small mesh organizer pouch. I know you don't like the current Urethane's stickiness, but if you can find any older 3D organizer pouches, they are not sticky, and have a wide range of Cordura colors. (Unfortunately, by the time Azalea and Turquoise came around, they were using the stickier Urethane, but the earlier 3D clear organizer pouches before they added the hanger are all not sticky, as are some of the 3D clear organizer pouches issued with the hangers -- this includes my earlier Indigo 3D Clear Organizer Pouches.)

The bottom row is not complete (I have more colors, but I grabbed up a few to make up colors that I knew were available as DOPs, like Conifer and Linen, but it also includes some colors that are ringers (Cardinal Ballistic Nylon is about gone, and as far as I know was never around to make it into a DOP. I grabbed a Cardinal/Iberian Pocket Pouch back in March -- one of 3 remaining at the time. Colors in the bottom row are: Cayenne 500d, Navy Ballistic Nylon, Turquoise, Kiwi Ballistic Nylon, Olive Parapack, Linen, Cardinal Ballistic Nylon, Wasabi 500d, Conifer, and Azalea. I left out the other navies (Parapack, Cordura), and Plum, which I'm pretty sure is available as a DOP, though I haven't seen it.

THANK YOU! It's incredibly helpful to see all the colors lined up and named, particularly the blues. When looking at the shop photos I've often squinted at the unlabeled photos and wondered whether something was French Blue, or Storm, or what have you.

            Also, it's a gorgeous shot.

Ooh, thanks for this. Yup, I know about the Cocoa Ultrasuede LS. I have the Cocoa Ultrasuede Nook pouch that I use for non-Nook electronics, and thick Ultrasuede is so nice to the touch. I reckon that's what they use for the LS... Mmmm. Hoping against all hope that I'll find one floating about someday (too bad I can't stalk garage sales in the US!!).

I do like French Blue as well though, and having extra pouches is always good.
Mistaking French Blue for Storm is perfectly understandable though, especially in the case of clear pouches, the urethane deepens the color of whatever fabric placed behind it. So Storm, which is already pretty similar to French Blue to begin with, can look nearly identical to French Blue in certain lighting when viewed through the urethane.

Here's a pic which kinda shows what I mean, the effect isn't very strong here.
French Blue on top, Storm below.

Yeah, I've had the confusion problem too. Indigo/Sapphire and Storm/French Blue are common mix-ups, so be warned! (I usually say in an email "could you please check with others to make sure it's really [colour name here]?").

Your PP is so cute... I wish Cardinal was around for them to make SEs in. Cardinal SE for Chinese New Year would be the ultimate angbao (non-Chinese folks see this link if you're curious) collecting/dispensing bag. Lined with Iberian, for good measure!

We can always hope that those colors will make a comeback someday. Hmmm.... maybe for anniversaries?
I'm assuming from the website that the brand was founded in 1972, so 2017 would be the 45th anniversary?
How about having every color back that year for a birthday bash? Or for the big FIVE-O in 2022?
Am I getting carried away here? Sorry! lol

Regarding the angbao bag, I thought your Cardinal CP is more than perfect for that!
I mean, you do still need space to bring along a couple of mandarin oranges and I'm not sure if the SE is suitable for that, it'll bulge, won't it? (I'm suddenly wondering if @Janine has already tried this.)

I'll hazard that for Janine, it's go watermelon or go home.

@adalangdon Totally agree with the cuteness of @icebeng's Cardinal/Ultraviolet PP. I've asked (unsuccessfully) about the availability of this color combination (or others in Cardinal), and the only one I managed to get was Cardinal/Iberian (back in March). He must be a lot more persistent. And I also understood why @weirdguy and others in SouthEast Asia, China, Japan, etc. would like more red accessories.

I'd suggest that the Kit might work better than the SE to fit in mandarin oranges, which are smaller than typical apples:

Think of a bag that is size of a Side Effect, but with a base that is maybe 40-50% wider, and the top pinched so that it is easier to clutch and grab. The above image is from the Kit Product page photos. You can also look at the pictures from the Introducing Cardinal Red 1050d Ballistic Nylon blog article:

The nice feature of the broad base of the Kit is that items don't roll around. The Kit (originally named "Style Kit") has been around long enough that it came in Ballistic Nylon colors like Grape

Yes, she didn't even seem to like my suggestion of cantaloupes as personal items to fit in better with the burnt orange theme, which would also be true of mandarin oranges, but she does love the Daylight Backpack:

I'm wondering whether she will get @adalangdon's French Blue DLBP that is set to close its eBay auction in a few minutes?

@moriond, these are beautiful and useful pictures! Thanks for sharing. Your TB collection must be a beautiful rainbow of colors. How nice to mix and match. Speaking of this, when posts come up about good possible color combinations, I often think about school or team colors. I read recently that often colors on opposites of the color wheel are used for schools and teams as they go well together. However, adjacent colors also can go well together as they are soothing to the eye (like aubergine and UV).

I hear and obey...er, provide a comical photo vignette.

My Solar/Solar SE arrived today! Woot! And I promptly parked the kids in front of the TV so that I could answer the age-old question: how many mandarin oranges will fit in a Side Effect?

I didn't have any mandarins (we won't start getting good ones back in the grocery stores for a few more months, and the ones that are around now are bitter) so I used small navel oranges. These oranges are approximately the same size as the apples I used in my Pilot photo shoot (~2.5" diameter):

I only had five oranges so that's what the picture shows, but a sixth would have fit comfortably. Mandarins are a bit smaller. I guestimate that one could fit 8-12 of them in a Side Effect, depending on the size, shape, and tolerable level of Side Effect bulginess.

As for "go watermelon or go home" - @badger knows me too well. The little SE really tried!

I had to bring it back from the brink of disaster with a two-ply double-roll:

One roll fits, but you can't zip the SE shut unless you are willing to crush the TP. I was not willing, and the SE was a little fragile after its tussle with the watermelon, so you'll have to just trust me on that one.

And @moriond, let's not relive the cantaloupe episode. I thought we had put that behind us.
