If ever wondering about an acronym, there is a guide as a Sticky in General Bag Disussion section:

    Acronym Guide

SE stands for Side Effect (and sometimes Super Ego - but not often).

IMHO, the GPLR is the exact size of the Synapse 25 bottom pocket - meaning it needs to be slightly bent to squeeze past the zipper but fits fine once inside.

    Hope this helps

    Cheers!

Now that's interesting. I just got the my kit today, and while I love the S25 and the BC, I don't really like the FS. If the GPLR fits in the bottom of the S25, that might be a better option for me.

I just need to see a picture of the LR in S25 to make sure I like it and it doesn't feel too stuffed.

BTW, thanks for telling me where to find all the acronyms.

There is a small first aid kit in the GPLP (the orange bag in top pocket) to help give you a sense of the thickness of the Lead's Pocket when packed with stuff. Click image for larger version

I did this through Tapatalk, so hopefully the pics have come out all right. If not, I'll edit this post when I get home. Hope this helps.

I posted some pics in the post previous to this one.

There's a slight bend when getting the Lead's Pocket inside the S25 bottom pocket, but frankly I never noticed it until you asked that question and @tpnl mentioned the slight bend.

I have found it easy to put the Lead's Pocket inside even when my S25 is packed to the gills. It's a little more tricky getting the Side Effect inside when the S25 is packed with a lot, but manageable.

            Great pictures @imagineez!

... for some reason, I feel hungry now ... after seeing the S25 "snacking" on the GPLR AND SE. I am impressed!

            Cheers!
