    @organicfarmer @backpack Et al.

Note that the Yeoman Duffels were made from 1050 Ballistic slightly blemished material... from the page description: "When we receive ballistic nylon with flaws, it’s ours to keep: because we are one of the last consumers of domestic 1050 ballistic, our mills no longer accept returned goods. We don't receive much flawed fabric, but we've been saving up what we do get, waiting for the right idea to come along. And so it has: the Yeoman Duffel."

Previously @Darcy had said that many of the 1050 colours would probably be phasing out... so if at least Black remains, they may have other plans for any potentially flawed material or possibly short runs of YDs in only black.
With all the immediate impacts of the pandemic and pivots required, it's probably safe to say that things are fluid.

    A one-more run of Yeoman's is a possibility for 2021.

Fingers crossed they would use the remaining 1050d Ballistic fabric for some mini and large yeoman duffels.

Color coding for each child, school/work/household subject, type of material, etc... is ideal in a Truck, you gather the stuff, eye the bag and drop the things in it (no worries about a zipper or flap to open and the flat bottom insure they won't tip over), the 3 compartments make them easy to organize.

Note that, like many, I love my Yeomans, and want more, just not in black, so when travel resume, I hope more will be produced.
I’m going to remind you guys that in the Introducing The Yeoman Duffel blog post, they outlined one of the reasons for developing the Yeoman Duffel product line was to make use of their stock of 1050d Ballistic Nylon that had small imperfections that would not have passed their own quality control standards for use in other bags. So this type of stock basically spans the range of colors that they have been using for their 1050d products, and I assume there is some subset with minor imperfections that has been laid out for Yeoman Duffel production.

The real limitation now is the limitation on the number of people who can work on the production of these bags, given the restrictions in effect for Co-vid 19, the massive efforts separately going into mask production and distribution, and the efforts to come out with the new designs.

Sorry all, I got distracted from completing this reply post by all the new blog posts and product pages going up. But in the meantime @G42 has drawn your attention to the source of the Yeoman Duffel fabrics. And @Darcy has also weighed in with the possibility of another run of Yeoman Duffels in 2021.

Hopes this helps explain my earlier optimism that we may not have seen the last of the Yeoman Duffels!

@Darcy . I flagged a typo in one of your links on this page

…some hints about new bags coming in 2021; read that here.

You left out an “s” in “blogs” so the link to the text of “read that here” doesn’t work

Ooooh!! I would love a medium YD in Aubergine! And my daughter just indicated that she would like a duffel for a road trip bag. I discovered they are perfect for loading things in a rooftop car carrier or tossing in the back, with the dog - they zip closed, are water-resistant, don't catch on things and don't pick up fur.

I was late to the Yeoman club but they are just so simple and practical. I love the sturdiness and sheen of the 1050 ballistic. The single big compartment and the grab handles are just right: just enough detail and no unused extras.

You guys! Someone pointed out that the Small Shop Bag has *zero* reviews. I can't believe it! Here's the link if anyone would like to be the first to post one:
    https://www.tombihn.com/products/ori...op-bag#reviews

(Honest/true-to-you reviews might help more people discover a certain bag, so feel free to leave reviews for the Pick-Up Truck and Yeoman too!)

Noticed this, but figured that people felt hesitant to post reviews about bags that they thought were semi-retired.

so feel free to leave reviews for the Pick-Up Truck
Done. I'm a Pickup truck fanatic, I lobbied on the Facebook group to get anyone interested in it to sign up. I would really really love to see the recycled fabrics if/when there is a last run (dreaming of Logic Blue but Nebulous would be nice or maybe Seapine).
Getting to the point with too many bags to list them all. Current daily carry is a PickUp Truck and Everyday Cubelet. Love all my shop bags, ghost whales, cubelets. Hoping to travel again soon to use my A30 and co-pilot.

I tried searching for the details of Cerylon fabric. What makes it special or what problem does it solve?

You know me, I keep forgetting details like that, this is why you are the official forum historian.

The Steel Yeoman is my husband's larger carryon for casual travel together, so I or he throw stuff in it, and it can be checked at the end of the trip. It is also a perfect road trip bag for the same reason.

Mine is Aubergine and I haven't seen any imperfection, it is always not far from me.

"Of course, so many new and new-ish offerings mean that we will need to retire some colors and designs: stay tuned for news on that. In the meantime, if there's a bag that's currently in-stock that you'd like to order, you may want to do so sooner rather than later."

The statement above taken from the Update from our Seattle factory blog post worries me greatly, I'd rather know sooner than later.

They've updated the website to separate out some of the item pages that were previously integrated, so that it's easier to see what is available and in production from the all bags page

Something really important that I forgot to point out until now! Any orders placed with the same shipping address between now and 6:00am on 12/01 will be automatically combined by @Countron and you'll only be charged shipping once. So, if you place an order at 7:00am and then another order around 1:00pm, @Countron will automatically combine your orders so that you'll only pay one shipping charge. Nik programmed @Countron to do that a while back as a way to make that whole part smoother for you guys and for us, too. Basically, @Countron can't auto-combine orders any longer once our shipping crew "batches" and begins the shipping process. They'd usually batch tomorrow throughout the day, but because of the split debut in particular, they'll wait to batch until 12/01.
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Thanks for the blog post, Darcy (and the additional batching/ combination info in your post above)! I have to say I am very excited about a possible new knitting/ crafting bag debuting in 2021. My first TB purchases were a Swift, Little Swift, and a lot of accessories to go with them many years ago.

And thank you, once again, for making such wonderful face masks even though it means you and the crew aren't able to make as many new bags as you had hoped. We really appreciate everything you do for us and for those people you donate masks to.

    Stay safe, everyone!
