TB Ballistic Black/Iberian Dyneema backpacks and briefcases for every occasion together with my cherished Nordic and Solar Dyneema!
UV is my go to lining, beautiful and light but not, blinding bright shade of my favorite color. The new NWS which looks like silver, will most probably be my default lining but most especially secondary accessory color, all bets are off if Island makes a come back, I might also be persuaded to use Zest (both colors are just very, very, very festive and what is needed to take the blues away)
I do hope that Steel and dream that Nordic will make a comeback, no need to worry about mixing up Synapses sizes since Halcyon has replaced Dyneema.
I have to admit that Halcyon is one of my very favorite name, as it is associated, in my mind with, both High Middle Ages (the time of growing knowledge, Universities, Art,...) and the outdoors of northern countries with woods, wind, lakes and seas.
Wonderful post and pictures, I just knew you guys were much, much too quiet, not to be up to something extraordinary!
Thank You, Darcy!

A black halcyon western flyer would absolutely open my wallet![]()
That looks awesome! I would love a black Halcyon NWS Side Effect...
wow I LOVE it! Yes, I need this in a SA!!
The bag I would most like to replace with the new grey-gridded black "Halcyon" is my Daylight Backpack. I think it would look a lot nicer if it was more uniformly a dark color, and I don't care to switch to the cordura version. That is also an affordable bag to swap out, versus some of the larger bags.

Now I can go to the Dyneema/Halcyon side! I just could never get on board with the white grid because it made my eyes cross.
Black Halcyon/NWS Wishlist:
- Side Effect
- Smart Alec with BH UMP (I think this will be my "big" 2016 bag purchase)
A second A30 would be tempting, as would a Daylight Backpack, but I know I would not be able to resist a Black Halcyon Side Effect and Smart Alec.
Long live Burnt Orange! Zest! 152!
Iberian interior please! Wow, I check out for a two day NyQuil stupor and miss the excitement!
Eat well, travel often.
I'm not feeling the pull of the backpacks (mainly because I already have a black S19) but I just noticed that the silver zips go very nicely with the grey grid on the Synapse in that first pic. It looks... right. Finally!! I've been sad about the silver zips with dyneema all this while because I felt it just didn't go well with the white grid.
I need to know, how do you pronounce halcyon? I keep rearranging the letters and reading it as "hally-con" in my head, and I want to break that habit before it gets stuck :-P
I'll reiterate the votes for Island, UV, and NWS for interior colors, and plead that you make the Side Effect and Cafe Bags available in these color combos. Pretty, pretty please!
kindness is contagious.
Wow, I like the grey grids on black a lot! Can't wait to see it on a Makers Bag.

+1 for Island interior thank you.
I've been pondering a new TB bag, glad I waited. The new black dyneema is very elegant in a pinstripe-y kind of way. It will be a nice option for those of us who need something a little less casual, but don't want ballistic. That said, I would really love to see Steel in this new 400d, although I suspect my bank account would be less than thrilled.
Wow!
I am pretty excited for this,I have never been ready to grab anything EDC in Dyneema with the white stripe but this new lack of contrast has my name written all over it!
You just can't see it too well because of,well the new lack of contrast!
