    Holes in S19 bottom pocket

Hi! I'm new here - I just joined today. Thanks for having me! I joined specifically because I noticed today that the bottom pocket of my S19 has 2 small little holes, one on each side of the top of that pocket. I got the bag in December as a gift. That pocket has been used for hand lotion/tissues, and at a different time, a Jackery portable charger/apple lightning connector/Mac charger/calculator. Those items were in that pocket free floating, until about 3 days again when I got my small SC, so they've been housed in there since. So, I have no idea what could've caused those little holes - nothing sharp has been poking up in there. Are they supposed to be there? They are pretty symmetrical. I'm just confused, and a little bummed.

My pics didn't post. I'll try in a separate post.

I think there are there when the S19 in manufactured.

They are needed to make the bag.

I just checked my S19 and mine has two holes just like yours in exactly the same place.

Ah, thank you so much! I did email customer service, but since it's a long weekend, I figured I wouldn't hear back until Tuesday. This makes me relieved. I couldn't figure out what I did, hahaha!

Mine has them as well so it must be the norm.

Way to go being observant though, I've never noticed them! Smilie

Haha! Thanks! I wonder how many S19 owners are finding those little holes tonight. Embarrassment

Since I see stitching next to the holes, they are used for alignment of the Tom Bihn label or alignment of the straps, or whatever is sewn over them. You'll find the holes in most bags somewhere, and usually under the label.

They are a marker used in the sewing process. See the first post in this thread: https://forums.tombihn.com/questions...-question.html

Thanks all for the replies! I had no idea that there were markers. Again, I'm relieved that it wasn't something I did. Smilie
