Question What camera insert are you using with your Brain Bag?

    Hello all,
I'm a proud owner of a Brain Bag (4 years and counting), and recently got myself a new DSLR. I'd like to use the BB to carry it around, and now that the Camera I/O is no longer available, that means I'm looking for a 3rd-party insert. After getting some feedback from Kat, and doing some searching, it seems that there are a lot of options, but it's hard to tell how well they fit in the BB. Ideally, I'd like something "tall" and top-loadable, so that I can easily grab the camera from the top of the bag. Most of the inserts I've looked at seem like they would sink down to the bottom half of the bag.

For those of you with a Brain Bag and 3rd-party insert, if you have a setup you are happy with, would you mind sharing what you are using? FWIW, I'll be carrying a Canon 80D with a couple of lenses (nothing huge) and a flash.

I have a Camera I/O but I have a great affinity for the Ape Case Cubeze line of bags. They come in various sizes and shapes and don't have a top flap to get in the way.
    When in trouble, obfuscate.

If you want the Camera I/O, someone on the Ravelry forum was selling one and as of a few days ago it was still available. (With Brain Bag, though.)
    I have a bunch of great bags. Favorite color combos include Aubergine/Island, Navy/Solar, Forest/UV, Original Halcyon/Wasabi, Cloud/Viridian.

I've fulfilled my dream of palindromic-colored nested bags! Navy/Ultraviolet Pilot with Aubergine/Island Side Effect inside: blue purple purple blue. Forest/UV A45 with Aubergine/Wasabi Co-Pilot inside: green purple purple green.

What's a DSLR...is that a new Bihn model? Or do you mean "digital single lens reflex"? Drowning in acronyms........
