    Road Duffel Reviews

Hey there, Iím in the market for a new 60-65L duffel for road trips and gear hauling. Iím really interested in the large road duffel but I havenít read much info on it. Iíve scoured the internet and the forums and read a few reviews, but wondering if anyone has had recent experience with the bag? The alternative is the Osprey Transporter, which definitely intrigues me with the backpack straps, and I love Osprey nearly as much as Tom Bihn.

    Any input is appreciated!

In other news, totally loving my new halcyon pilot! Iíve been eyeing it for nearly a year and finally pulled the trigger. Was making due with the DLBC as a carry on personal bag but the lack of space for a water bottle has been a real deal breaker. The pilot is what I should have gotten in the first place!

I love the look of the large road duffel. Mainly due to the side pockets which I think puts organisation for this bag above all other duffels.

But I hear you on backpack straps. This and yeoman duffel would be so much better if have them. All competitors seem to have backpack straps. I would tb to make a bag with backpack straps and should strap options. As long as could be removed and stored in a pouch somewhere.

Sorry canít help you on reviews but I hear you this looks a great looking pack, but could do with backpack straps to be awesome!

I think the idea behind the Road Duffles is that you carry them out to your car and that's it. I love my medium Road Duffle. I don't think I could lift a fully loaded large Road Duffle.
