Will this fit in a Pilot

Hi. I am wondering about the inside dimensions of the Pilot. My dad recently got a portable oxygen compressor it comes with a mesh shoulder bag that already has failing zippers and a bad shoulder strap. The unit is shaped like my Copilot, but is too big to fit inside the Copilot. The O2 unit is 8.75" x8.25" with a front to back width of 3". The footprint is shaped like an oval. It is too big for the main compartment of my Copilot. I read somewhere that the main compartment of the Pilot was 2.75 inches from front to back. Anyone with a Pilot have any thoughts on whether this 02 unit would fit?

I know that the manufacturer makes a backpack, but dad was never a backpack guy and I really like the organization of the Pilot for his water bottle, wallet, keys and other EDC supplies.

    Thanks for your help!

I think it will fit - here are some photos of a large box (I could not come up with anything oval shaped) - the dimensions are larger than the ones you gave.

Thanks spcanf: It looks like we definitely will have enough room for that 02 unit, plus cords etc in the main compartment. I think we should also have enough room for a back up battery plus personal items in the front pockets. The photos were a huge help!
