Travel Tray, large, holds go bowls

an unexpected bonus application for the large sized Travel Tray. The 8” (20cm) diameter is enough to hold the largest of the wooden bowls in my collection of go (aka: baduk, weiqi). Used to hold the game’s playing stones, the bowls create a transport hassle because they are fragile and the contents can be heavy. And there’s still room for some protective padding. Not shown in this photo are pieces of an old yoga mat.

Ooooooooohhh... I sometimes have to carry a tibetan prayer bowl for my work, and and this would be a good solution for that! I could even keep the mallet and the cushion in there.... Thanks for the inspiration!

In practice, I'll probably pack soft things -- socks and scarves -- to fill out the bag around the mallet. But this is a great solution for carrying the bowl to and from classes. I can even leave it in the tray during class because the black looks so professional.
