Hi @Darcy I've got a quick question! Late last year you mentioned a sling bag that Nik was working on. I was curious if there's been any progress on that, or is that bag on the back burner as you all work on more immediate designs, masks, and replenishing stock?
Thank you for any info you can give! It's the future bag that I'm most excited for.

I know I've mentioned it before, but I loved the idea for the convertible top bag on the Hero's Journey. It would be great to see it reissued on it's own, with the backpack as a sling.

I've minimalized most of my packing to around 15L, so I'd love to see a simple bag that would fit the personal item requirement - 40 x 30 x 15 cm or roughly 16 x 12 x 6 inches with zippers or a roll top feature for security. That's my new Goldilocks bag

First/second aid pouches in ballistic or halcyon fabrics without the outer print. More organization than a pouch or cube, organization different than HLT's, and existing design. Even 1 neutral color of halcyon or ballistic in next production run if idea has traction would be great.

    2020 Wish List

Almost the end of 2020. I hope this gonna be work.

    I missed the luminary 12.

I realize I need it just after it retired.

L15 is too big for me.

I'm 5'3 and really need a small backpack around 12L.

By now TB not have any this size backpack under 15L or for short people.

So I think is necessary, to keep a small backpack or mini backpack online.

Hope L12 return or the new design same size backpack coming soon.

@MargaretK. , I returned/sent back a Luminary 12 Nebulous Grey/Dawn on 10/13. You might want to contact the TB crew to buy it.

It is a beautiful bag. I just could not make it work for me.

Welcome to the Forums @MargaretK !

The Luminary 12 is a great bag. I have both the 12 and 15. The Luminary 15 is only 16.5" high, so I find it fits just fine on me and I'm 5' 4" - everyone is different in how bags fit them, but you may want to take another look. Or contact Customer Service about the bag @Walker returned.
I like all the blues and greys...and all the happy citrus colours too! My search unicorn is the Sapphire Dyneema original Small Shop Bag...

    @MargaretK, you are welcome.

In the same return box to TB is a L15 Wilderness Green/Coyote if you like that combination. I like the Wilderness/Coyote combination very much.

Finally, also in the return box is a Cubelet in Aubergine. In case you wanted one and cannot wait for the next production run.

The 2 Luminaries are truly beautiful. I just cannot make them work for me. Seems I carry too much and the items I tote around work better with my Synapse 19 and DLBPs. I now have 2 DLBPs - my latest acquisition is Alphaviolet/Viridian.

I also could not make the Cubelet work for me. It confirmed that the TSS #2 is the best one for the items I pack and carry.

I planned to post about these items I sent back, which I will do if you are not interested in the L15 and the Cubelet.

    Have a great day!

It's on the back burner, but I hope Nik picks up that design again early next year to finish it. It has some clever features and would make for a perfect Design Lab debut Smilie
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Current carry: testing new potential materials in the form of Original Large Shop Bags.

Thanks for the heads up, @Walker !

Just spoke with Kat in Customer Service and claimed dibs on the Wilderness L15.

Iíve been using my Deep Blue/Coyote L15 a LOT this year (Iím sure some of you see all the pictures I post of the bag here in the forums) and wanted a dark-colored L15 [that wasnít black] to have as a backup.

    Coyote-lined bags = the best.

You are most welcome @Chicagoan . You will LOVE the L15 wilderness/coyote.

I am very happy that the bags found homes.

I was very sad returning both bags but as I wrote, I just could not make them work for me.

The reason I purchased the L15 + L12 is because many seem to have one of each. I followed the herd wisdom.

Enjoy your adventures with your TB bags.

P.S. LOVE your photos @Chicagoan . Your latest fall photos are amazing. I miss the views and colors of the changing seasons. We do not see those where I live. Hope to see your L15 Wilderness/Coyote featured in your photos soon!

In the spirit of paying it forward, I just sent back a Small Zip Top Shop Bag in Dawn Ballistic, if anyone wanted to contact TB customer service and claim it as their own. The return should be back in Seattle by 10/20.

    And thanks, @Walker !

The L15 is my perfect bag and Iím grateful they chose to make it in a larger size than the original L12 because it fits me perfectly and, as you see, I literally take it everywhere with me.

When they first made the L12 I managed to buy one from someone on eBay but found the straps were way too short on my body (combination of broad shoulders and a longer torso than the bag was designed to accommodate).
