  • Haven't travelled for a while, what with the pandemic, but prior to that my work trips were usually short - an overnight or two. Work mufti pre-pandemic generally involved a pair of cargos, polo shirt and maybe a sweater, the trousers would normally be worn for up to 3 days running on a trip. So laundry...

  • Travel Trays are pretty much soft and squishable. The black piping around the top (which is actually the middle, since the outer wall is a double thickness folded down over itself while the drawstring top is not in use) has a bit of structure to it and helps to hold the tray in shape, but doesn't interfere...

  • Whoa! Burnt Orange and Orange-152 are like chalk and cheese. The Orange-152 is BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT WARNING ORANGE!!! The burnt orange is more like a rusty shade in person. Both are nice colours, but about as far apart on the orange continuum as it's possible to get! I can't remember where my Burnt...

Possibly a strange question: has anyone tried fitting e.g. a 13" MacBook of any variety in a LGD?
Per the measurements, it should - just - fit. There probably wouldn't be enough room for a cache, though. The sticking point might be the depth of the MacBook which (based on a quick tape measure...

Just found the newsletter, and Angus is gorgeous! He reminds me a bit of our lad Titch as a pup, although Angus is more tan and Titch's coat was more black - probably because Titch turned out to be a Rottweiler/Staffie cross and grew up to be 34kg! H57 types are always a bit potluck as far as eventual...

A new puppy? Has something happened to Kasper, or is this new pup a furry friend to keep him company?
(from personal experience, dogs seem to be a bit of a slippery slope - sometimes you can't stop at just one... which is why we have six of them...)...

Just a word of caution regarding Facebook and Instagram: not everyone is on them, not everyone wants to be on them. I'm a Facebook refusenik on principle: I don't trust the company or its management with my personal data, given its record, so I just won't get involved with those sites. That has caused...

I've had my first jab - AstraZeneca (UK based, and in a "vulnerable" group due to prior heart issues) - and will probably get the second one in early May. Side-effects were that I felt a bit "flu-ey" for a couple of days afterward - fatigued and achy etc. My partner also had first...
