Just chiming in to say that I've used a DLBC several times for trips to the office, holding my personal 13" Intel MacBook pro and work Lenovo T14 in the main compartment, with adapters in the "back pocket" and stuff like pens, spectacles etc in the front horizontal pocket. And that works...

On the basis that the RB36 is no longer being made but the A30 remains on the books, I would be more comfortable letting the A30 go as it could be replaced if needed. The RB36 not so much. It also sounds as if you use the RB36 more, on aggregate, as it's also used for road trips.

MikeV thank you for providing some clarity. I think the issue here is that the message has been "1050 ballistic is not going away", which has caused customers who would like to purchase bags in that specific fabric - and often in colours other than black - to become frustrated at the lack...

I have no recent pictures other than those in a couple of my recent posts. My NFTD is from the original run, in 1050 ballistic in Aubergine, lined with Wasabi 200d Halcyon... and I find it extremely useful. I acquired it used, but one would never know - no signs of wear at all.

I can't help but feel that actions speak louder. If 1050 isn't going away, tell us when the next batch of bags in 1050 are scheduled for production, and what colours they're going to be in (other than basic black). Until then it doesn't exist. I recently posited that with the all-630d-ballistic offering...

Cristina, bartleby , thank you for your input! Not so good news on the packing cubes front, I agree - in another post moriond mentioned using Pilot cubes, and in bartleby's review it looks like the clothing section with its compression straps is pretty much cube-like in its own right...

This is one I'm definitely interested in, but a bit concerned about early reports of it being somewhat weighty even when empty. And it seems pretty optimistically priced, too, to be blunt...
