Here's what I know (FWIW):
The laptop pocket is 11" x 17" (conservatively), with enough depth for both the MacBook and the iPad.
There is no additional sleeve or padding for an iPad.
The laptop pocket has padding on both sides (behind the liner material)....

I did a 13 day trip with a T45. I was not being a minimalist packer. The T45 held 3 pants, shorts, swimsuit, 10 short sleeve and long sleeve shirts, 4 wool t-shirts, walking sandals, 10 underwear, 10 socks and a light insulated jacket. I used large and medium Peak Design packing cubes, a shoe pouch...

Paramour does seem to work well as a daypack and water carrier when walking the dogs. Also a lot easier to get into than the Paragon, which I still like. I like both better than the synapse 19, which doesn't seem to feel right on me, no matter how I adjust it, and has a lot of organization I'll never...

I tried using the halcyon Paramour as an office tote for my work laptop and occasional files, the same way I had with the ballistic Paragon. Although seeming very similar, I discovered 1 day (when I took home more files than usual) that the Paramour doesn't seem to handle heavy loads nearly as well...

Thanks. The kydex frame sheet idea is definitely worth considering. It's worth remembering that the upper part of the CPL back panel is patterned to curve over the shoulder, and the lower part does not quite extend all the way to the bottom of the bag (butts up to a stiff bottom piece). I may be better...Last edited by ayazgood; 08-12-2022, 06:13 PM.

Techonaut 30 Frame Sheet in an Evergood Civic Panel Loader 24
A true first world problem - The Evergoods CPL backpack tends to have a slightly concave curvature towards the bottom of the back panel, instead of lying flat or having a convex curvature in the lumbar region (like the Bellroy Workpack). It has been this way since the version 1, but is less noticeable...1 Photo

Wow, what timing, they just announced this new bag: https://www.tombihn.com/collections/...42053393940669
And if that is not to your liking, the Cadet should also be big enough: https://www.tombihn.com/collections/...det?variant=39...

Good spot! That's a major flaw for me. Why would they not use a D-ring or one of their triangle strap holders? Maybe one could find a gatekeeper version of a d-ring or triangle...

Oh no, now I have to sell both my Paragon and my Paramour? This is just getting annoying. My wife already thinks I've joined a cult!
The pic of the Navy version shows a blackout label, and the Black version shows the red label. Is that accurate? I much prefer the blackout...
