Bag capacity ratings

Thanks! I've definitely seen that on other bags, which is what made me wonder about TB. It would be odd for the company to use a material which would degrade so "quickly" (comparatively), everything else is rock solid!

Same - I'm really disappointed that the product photos and videos don't get updated - suspect it's not a new thing, but it's not ideal when buying from overseas!...

Hi all!

Does anyone know why the stated capacity of some bags is being updated? TB bags have always been the gold standard for measuring capacity, so it would be a shame if they are moving away from the current system.

For example, the Small Cafe Bag has been moved from 6L...

Really interested to hear the outcome of this - I was going to order an Aeronaut but if the straps are no longer centred that's not great.

On the product videos, it looks to me as if the strap hooks are centred. However, on some of the product photos the strap hooks look like they are not...

I own a bunch of bags in various materials including X-Pac (including some other TB bags although not in X-Pac) - Evergoods, Able Carry, Fjallraven, Aer, etc. So the bag would just go in rotation sometimes for everyday use, sometimes...

I'm really interested to hear any opinions on the X-Pac used in the TB bags. How does it compare to the halcyon and ballistic, or X-Pac used in other bags?

Does it change how the Synapse or Synik pack at all, or are there any other unexpected benefits or drawbacks?...
